Zombies almost always check inside. Some are often used as literal fortresses, and are sometimes so heavily barricaded that it is impossible to enter without Free Running. Tagging a police station earns 2 XP. They are listed as a Tactical Resource Point. Police Stations can be barricaded normally.

Description

Lamport Walk Police Department Prior to Malton Outbreak

The Lamport Walk Police Department is noteworthy because of its inability to be reached by free running as it is one of Malton's few islands. It is therefore the safest location in Gatcombeton in regard to PK'ers. Once barricaded to EHB, it becomes a major impediment to would- be PK'ers, but virtually useless to any other survivors because they can't get in either. It is also notable for being only two blocks away from Maundrill Grove, a void - the closest possible distance between the two map features.

Barricade Policy

As stated in Gatcombeton Barricade Plan this building should be keep at Very Strongly Barricaded since it is a Tactical Resource Point for ammo, guns and relatives. And can only be over this level when zombies attacking the building over pass the quantity of survivors inside or in case of massive zombie attacks. Besides, it's impossible for survivors to get inside at higher barricade levels.

History

• On May 5th, 2006, Lamport became the target of the newly formed PK group, Red Rum. Because they had to attack prematurely, as Zombies had their own plans for the PD, the attack didn't go as well as as it could have gone (Only seven survivors were killed).

Three Days later, Red Rum returned, and finished their attack, clearing the Police Department of the remaining survivors in under a minute.

• Currently home of the Sons of Chester.

• On March 28th, 2012, Organization XIII claimed the PD as their HQ. Two days later, they ruined it.

  On June 5th, 2012, Organization XIII makes it's "No generator" policy known to the public.
