Just no?
Kill votes are for when you think the suggestion can be fixed. "Just no" implies that you think it's garbage. If you think it's complete garbage, spam it. Otherwise, please tell the author what needs to be done to earn your keep. –Xoid M•T•FU! 07:27, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
- Perhaps I am too "soft" on others, but I just do not like voting spam. --Wikidead 07:39, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
Zerging
True, the zerg counters are easy to beat. But zerging could not be used to aid PKing more that it could be used to aid zombies. If you're already cheating anyway it doesn't really matter what that person does if it'll kill the same number of survivors regardless. --Jon Pyre 01:56, 14 November 2006 (UTC)
I think what it'll do to zergers is this. Instead of having however many zergs they have now all attacking survivors they'll have the same number minus one. If someone is dishonorable enough to rely on zerging they're probably doing it already. You can assume they'd already have as many zergs as they have time/inclination to manage. So if before they'd have 3 zergs all attacking survivors now they'd have two zergs, and one chopping at the barricades. --Jon Pyre 07:23, 14 November 2006 (UTC)
To be honest, better the barricades take a beating than some poor survivor inside. While this might force PKers to put a little more weight on the cades than before for the AP to take down barricades that same survivor could kill a handful of survivors. --Jon Pyre 07:51, 14 November 2006 (UTC)
Attack Name
Wikidead entered Peer Reviewed with an Attack Name. --Funt Solo 10:01, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
Flares
If you change your vote I'll add a note to the suggestion saying some voters felt the flare should burn longer than two minutes. --Jon Pyre 07:30, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
Hunting
It really isn't even as much of an invasion of privacy as Trail Scent is. This doesn't give you their location, just an approximation of how far they could have gone. And you only see it after someone kills or destroys something. --Jon Pyre 08:21, 13 December 2006 (UTC)
It gives their value at the time of the crime. --Jon Pyre 23:44, 13 December 2006 (UTC)
- Still not convinced. Not to push realism, but, flavorwise, how does this suggestion work? --Wikidead 23:54, 13 December 2006 (UTC)
GPS Suggestion
You don't display this to all your mutual contacts. Only the ones you yourself choose. Mutual contacts don't imply friendship. That's why you get to handpick which of your mutual contacts are your friends and only let them see it. Gage misread the suggestion because he didn't read that part I guess. --Jon Pyre 07:07, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
Reduce AP Cost To Revive Murder Victims
If someone is willing and able to zerg they have in essence infinite AP. 5AP one way or another won't make a difference to them. But it could help out some honest scientists. --Jon Pyre 06:45, 31 December 2006 (UTC)
Because it'd only be visible if you do a DNA scan, otherwise it'd be impossible to change the message built into syringes. And because it might make things unfairly hard for PKers/Bounty Hunters/PK victims if people choose not to revive them because of the manner of their death. This isn't supposed to give any additional detection abilities for finding PKers, just repair an AP imbalance.--Jon Pyre 07:16, 31 December 2006 (UTC)
Kill - Interesting, but 12 or 15 prisons? Wow, Malton must have the highest pre-apocalypse crime rate of any city in the world.
You've obviously never been to Detroit. In terms of the jails that the suggestions is talking about, that's actually fairly accurate.--Grigori 01:18, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
G'Day
Hello Wikidead, Chopper here. Some time back you may, or should rather, remember you came to The Sun Organization asking for an apology off DannGunn due to what may or may not have been a PK by him a long time ago. I'm posting here to let you know that since that occasion, I've now taken the reigns of TSO and am now their leader.
Although I don't have the right to apologise on DannGunn's behalf (He's now left UD), I do offer the apologies of TSO for any mishaps that may have occured between us. I'm not as hotheaded as DannGunn was and prefere to be as diplomatic as possible with other pro-survivor players, so once again, I hope you were not caused too much trouble.
A reply on my own userpage would be appreciated so I know my efforts have not gone wasted, thanks...
