History
Founded by the City of Malton when Foulkes Village was annexed in 1859, the loyal officers of the department have kept the area of crew avenue safe right up to the day of the outbreak in 2005.
The current incarnation of Crew Avenue Police Department represents the longest continuous police presence at a single location in all of Foulkes Village. During it's 150+ years of operation, the facility has received only 2 major renovations.
The first overhaul occurred in 1950 as a series of expansions in which the existing building remained as an office space. However it soon became clear that the aging edifice required more than a modular makeover to remain viable in the 21st century.
A controversial decision was made to completely demolish the historic structure and replace it with a state-of-the-art police department. While at first the move was met with public resistance, the sleek new design eventually became the crowning architectural gem of the revitalized community.
