after looking at the Optimal defense Diagram it has come to my attention that a few situations need to be rectified, first the Optimal Defense Diagram does not take into account the fact that the Coram Building is the EMS for the City, as such it is my feeling that the Dickinson Square School be moved to EHB to be another safe house in case of attack on Coram, things like this should at least be considered so that we can adapt to the changing landscape of Lukisnwood and the Zombie Threat. | after looking at the Optimal defense Diagram it has come to my attention that a few situations need to be rectified, first the Optimal Defense Diagram does not take into account the fact that the Coram Building is the EMS for the City, as such it is my feeling that the Dickinson Square School be moved to EHB to be another safe house in case of attack on Coram, things like this should at least be considered so that we can adapt to the changing landscape of Lukisnwood and the Zombie Threat. |

content moved from introduction
But it is in this barren environment that strong survivors and fierce zombies are forged. Past groups have included The Order of Longinus and Tactical Assault Containment Service. Consistant free lancers of the suburb are Sirs and kaboose117. Lukinswood is the home of Malpractice. The suburb also falls under the reported territory of The Crimson Clan and the DEM. However, Lukinswood locals never receive requested aid from outside groups and have thus learned to live independently.
Lukinswood is in a continual cycle of birth, death, and renewal. This is because of the proximity to the zombie-survivor safety border, an invisible line that runs through the middle of Malton. The spirit of Lukinswood was summed up by the ever classy, Ron Burgundy. -"A coward turns away, but a brave man's choice is danger."

Revise the Lukinswood Optimal Defense Diagram?
after looking at the Optimal defense Diagram it has come to my attention that a few situations need to be rectified, first the Optimal Defense Diagram does not take into account the fact that the Coram Building is the EMS for the City, as such it is my feeling that the Dickinson Square School be moved to EHB to be another safe house in case of attack on Coram, things like this should at least be considered so that we can adapt to the changing landscape of Lukisnwood and the Zombie Threat. --James Kipp 22:00, 31 August 2009 (BST)
New Medical Team established in Lukinswood
I'm an establishing member of Team Malpractice. We're a young group but also a VERY DEDICATED group! We've been attempting to revive the defunct RP at Rayner Crescent and also helping out at the Havercroft Cemetery RP. We would like the permission to post our existence in Lukinswood somewhere on this page. Thank you ahead of time for considering us! --Xdeadbydawnx 23:49, 7 August 2009 (BST)
- Any help is welcome. I'm sure there are specific terms laid down by the wiki naz- I mean admins... for what qualifies to put you on the 'group' listing. If you can't get up there, post updates on the status of the suburb and tag a lot of buildings and you will have made your presence known. Thanks, and good luck --Sirs 20:33, 7 Aug 2009 (EST)

It seems we have all left our updates dormant for awhile and need to start getting them back up. First off happy 4th to all. It seems we are once again fighting on this day here in our great suburb. The zed numbers are still up there, however it is looking better and better for ourselves. More buildings are being caded and holding for a decent amount of time, we still have much to do and alot more to go before complete safety can be declared, but we are well on our way... -Commander Rodgers Temp. Current Status
What is the current status of this suburb? I'm new and totally lost but would not move out if I don't have to.. Leto Viet
I believe Withyman Street Police Department is in the process of being broken into... I didn't stick around long enough to know for sure though. --Sniperjoe 05:01, 3 July 2007 (BST)
Update on the above, Withyman Street Police Department has been smashed and ransacked. --Sniperjoe 22:51, 5 July 2007 (BST)

Phone Mast status report
If you time, can we get you to update http://wiki.urbandead.com/index.php/Mobile_Phone_Mast#Locations with the current status of your local phone mast? Thanks. Asheets 20:12, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
What?!?
I log in this morning, and the suburb is suddenly filled with fresh new survivor accounts (ids of 832000+) all stood out in the open! Example profile: [1] [2] [3] [4] [5]
Well, either we're dealing with a very dedicated, and absent-minded zerger, or word has spread throughout the newbie community that Lukinswood is safe enough to hang out on the streets. BartlesonJames 18:08, 9 April 2007 (BST)
- I doubt the later my friend, but I was witness to this...strange occurrence as well. In fact there's still a few scouts hanging about as of April 9, 2007 17:07 EST. It makes me very suspicious when the Lukinswood zombies have neglected killing such east prey yet. Are they protected as zombie "brethren"? I'd like to think there was a wave of stupidity, perhapse in an easter egg hunt frenzy, among young players but most of these buildings were perfectly accessible for them to sleep in. Sirs

It has been a while since I last stopped in at the wiki. I look around and I see a lot of new faces these days. I for one support the current ODD in this neighborhood, and I don't think people, who have not bled on the streets with us to make this burb what it is, should be able to come in here and start barking orders on how this burb should be run. We are open to suggestions, but please don't think you can move into this area and disregard all the hard work we have put in here. I may suggest to Clan Nosferatu that they may be more comfortable in Shore Hills, Barville, or Richmond Hills until they learn the proper etiquette of working with their neighbors not against them. -Axe

Right, so someone asking where the RPs are is ok on the updates, but my response to this newcomer in need of information is not? Great work Surgeon General! If I can think of any better way to showcase your obviously anti-survivor bias, I'll be sure to let you know... BTW: Take a look through the news archives, the Lukinswood wiki has been home to both updates and color commentary since its inception. I think your window of opportunity on trying to curb this behavior has long since sailed.BartlesonJames 15:01, 15 July 2007 (BST)
