Extinction, unlike most other Zombie groups, takes a long term strategic approach to the UD game, more like Warcraft crossed with a MilSim rather than the usual round of yet one more 'glorious battle' after another leading nowhere 'cept circles. We don't think survivors should be allowed to recover because we believe Urban Dead should actually be a Zombie Apocalypse Game. So...
We take and hold territory by ruining the survivors' only real offensive capability - their NecroTech Needle Factories - and then we keep them ruined. Extinction Scouts roam our ruined suburbs while the Extinction Horde fights the survivor contagion on our front lines, and our mobile Extinction Squads rush from one search and destroy mission to the next, wherever they're needed. We also encourage other Zombie groups to try Salt the Land out, it actually makes a fun and challenging change from the UD status quo.
History
Founded in March 07 by Dr'Brainz around the concept of Salt the Land the group rapidly attracted interest from a variety of dedicated zombies bored of the usual UD gameplay and wanting to try something different. Starting with the NW corner suburb of Dakerstown Extinction quickly spread the infection to its three neighbours and then on to Quarlesbank and Caiger. Over the last year and a half the Extinction Zone has expanded and contracted as far east as Chancelwood, southeast to Shearbank and down south to the Blythvilles.

Skills
Whether Undead or Harmanz Corps, make the most of your AP usage and check out the Extinction Skills Guide. We recommend all low level Zombies acquire at least a Flak Jacket and Body Building while extra survivor skills can greatly assist us in communicating with feral Zombies as well as scouting the free runs for brain locations when combat revived.
