Walter is perhaps the most misunderstood real-estate owners in all of Malton. He built Nichols Mall in the mid 1970's to make it like no other Mall before. The Mall had virtually no doors, tons of windows, and no ceiling. A year after it's creation a storm wiped out everyone inside the Mall. Those that tried to escape died because they couldn't find the exit windows. Walter Nichols Cunningham, folding under pressure, jumped out of one of the mall's many windows, committing suicide. The Mall was boarded up until 1994 when it was bought by a future NecroTech scientist.

The Nichols Family is one of the more openly rich families in Malton. Their wealth is rumored to be money stolen from the "Five Families", the top five mob familes in Stanbury Village (Maddaford, Cabell, Lorenzo, Johnstone, and McCulloch). The most famous of the Nichols Family is Walter Nichols Cunningham, who created the (in)famous Nichols Mall.

George R. Nichols

Rich land holder from the late 1800s. Had five girls.

Richard Cunningham

One of the few mobsters from the 20s that wasn't arrested. When the police officers Daynes and Bunney arrested the Five Families Richard Cunningham funneled all their money into his bank account. Later married George R. Nichols' daughter Annette Nichols. Had one child, Walter Nichols Cunningham.

Walter Nichols Cunningham

Walter is perhaps the most misunderstood real-estate owners in all of Malton. He built Nichols Mall in the mid 1970s to make it like no other Mall before.
