Past History of the Totes
Feb 10-Apr 3 2006: The Lebende Tote were one of the small groups of undead that controlled Grigg Heights for over 2 months. After chasing out the Oblivion Folder survivor group, the Totes mainly hung out in the south and west of Griggs. Quite regularly, road trips were made to the north and east parts of Grigg Heights to visit the survivor "safehouses" and foil their oblivious attempts of group play. Apr 8 2006: With the diminishing number of active undead Totes coinciding with the majority of the undead feral population in Grigg Heights being carried off with the Undeadites and with the disappearance of the COWS and other undead/Pker groups, the days of undead rule were ending. With the arrival of the RRF Elders alts 'Guns of Brixton' survivor group in Griggs Heights, things went from bad to worse. The organization of the Guns of Brixton was superb and with the assistance of another squared away survivor group "The Invisibles", the Guns soon recovered from a decimating undead ambush/welcome party. The Totes being spoiled by the past destruction of survivor attempts to gain a foothold in Griggs, assumed that the Guns were of the same caliber. (Nice pun!) The Totes enacted Operation "UndeadMob Rule", proceeded to spread out to cover more of the suburb and depended on using groans and ferals to root out the Guns. Too late, the Totes realized that the feral population's numbers had fallen with the exit of the Undeadites. The remaining ferals were too few in number to do little more then slightly hinder the Guns plans. Apr 18 2006: In 10 days, Grigg Heights went from a zombie paradise to hell in Malton. EH barricaded buildings that used to be quite rare and noteworthy became cancer-like as they spread. Revive points that usually had 20+ Mrh cows were now becoming empty. The realization finally struck the Totes that they underestimated the Guns and allies. Remembering Sitting Bull's words of "5 fingers make 1 fist", the Totes regrouped, formulated Operation "Do or(un)Die" and for the really first time, struck together as a team. Quoted from the Grigg suburb Wiki page: In a do or (un)die final assault, lasting for over 2 days, the remaining Totes and a previously unknown horde (Thanks guys!) resulted in the Gun's safehouse being smashed open and upwards of 20 harmanz devoured. Yevgeny Furtim, after receiving a brotherly group hug from the Totes, was unfortunately eaten by the unknown horde/ferals after being so very recently revived. The Totes, bloated and drowsy, with morale restored, but low on AP, waddled to the warehouse next door and popped the door to say "CHEESE IT!" Apr 19-20 2006: A zombie spy discovered in the desensitised boards Human/zombie ratio thread, that the Guns of Brixton were alts of the elders of RRF. With the cold, hard reality slowly sinking in that the Totes days in Griggs were numbered, plans were made to go out with a bang. Quoted from the Grigg suburb Wiki page: For the Lebende Tote final glorious, no holds-barred, trenchcoat w/razors and cool shades wearing assault in Grigg Heights, the fully APed but severely reduced in number membership decided not to go clubbing sans invites with the RESPECTED elders in Crooketon but instead stay close to home with a massive spectacle worthy of Caesar himself. And to settle old accounts. After "scouting" was completed by combat revived Totes, the Oblivion Folder HQ was located in the Langner bldg [5, 59] and was immediately selected. Operation "Support Your Local Undead" was on. The strike commenced at a time lost to the ages GMT which is now BST (I think) because of EST is now DST. Maybe. Sweet undead jesus... Somehow amongst the spying, PKing, general mayhem of the smashing daylight attack, and the Totes uncanny inability to convert time zones, the door to the Oblivion Folder "safehouse" was left ajar and the snoozing "Oblivious" inhabitants were promptly devoured. This caused the Totes to proceeded to howl and groan with delight. After 4 1/2 hours of feasting, the only newly arrived guest to the fricassee was a recently deceased Folder human, who was not "happy". EDIT- zeedy, a respected oldtimer here in griggs showed up and "danced" with several HARMANZ. Their vehement craving sated, the Totes sauntered rather copious in belly towards the sunrise. Apr 20 2006: The Totes move to Reganbank and the suburb property values plummet. Apr 27 2006: The Oblivion Folder HQ was located in the east side of Grigg Heights and operation "Undead Kitty II" was put in motion. Early May 2006: Doc Smith creates the Council of Elders. At first, the Council included the players: I Bite 2, Jackson 5 and Doc Smith as President. The Council was created to help spread the responsibility of running the horde out just a little more and to help keep Doc Smith somewhat sane. May 1 2006: The ongoing Operation "La Cucaracha" in Reganbank has been met with almost no HARMANZ resistance. It is being currently wrapped up. Unfortunately a separate operation "PAR-LAY" ended when Doc Smith APed out among 6 undead. May 7 2006: With the lack of fresh, accessible brains hindering the Totes youths growth, raiding in Griggs has commenced. May 15-18 2006: With the arrival of the Redneck lil Boys in Reganbank, Operation "Go On, Now!" has commenced. The last several days has resulted in the successful cracking of large quanities of safe houses, piles of dead rednecks and the leveling up of young Totes. The cherry was cracking the St Maximillian's Hospital and finding 5 wounded rednecks slumbering. Unfortunately 1 redneck escaped. May 19-30 2006: Raiding has yet to end on the St Maximillian's Hospital and surrounding areas. At some points a full block or more around the hospital was completely cleared and occupied by zombies. All the action and groaning in the area as attacked large amounts of feral undead that supplement the Totes attacks and come in handy when Tote members groan for feasting to begin. This method has lead to many more dead. In most cases the Totes break a house, wound the occupants, and the ferals clean up. All this activity has not gone unnoticed by outside members, as the Wyatt Rangers, and the Guns of Brixton have both made runs on raided houses to assist the Redneck 'lil Boys. The Totes, annoyed by these intrusions raided a Wyatts Rangers safe house; killing a member and its leader, and forcing other Rangers to run. Now however the Totes have noticed some odd things happening, a big one being a ZKing zombie outside one of the Totes main targets. The Redneck 'lil Boys however have decided in the best interest of the game to put this zombie on their "to head shot list" The Totes are now thinking of new attacks to implement. Jun 1-14 2006: With fresh undead cadres of Totes and a plan written in blood, the Lebende Tote have returned to Grigg Heights. A second operation, led by the old wheezing geezer Doc Smith, has begun. A local chapter of the Lebende Tote has been established in the Arkhams, a pair of sister suburbs noted for the riffraff and general mayhem that the Totes have come to love. An elite strike team of Totes have remained in Reganbank to harass and annoy our honored foes, The Rednecks. So don't sleep too deep, Reds. Jun 15-19 2006: A training program for young Totes was completed in the area of NW Mornington. Jun 19-22 2006: Reports of unkempt undead emitting noxious odors, while attacking buildings in the south/southeast side of Grigg Heights has been neither denied nor confirmed. Jun 25 2006: With the assistance from the rejuvenated Grigg Heights ferals, it is a proud day to be a Tote. The Lebende Tote have declared Grigg Heights secured. There are reports of organized survivor groups raiding from Crooketon into Tote Land. Eradication of the offending HARMANZ party have begun. July 1-12 2006: The coordinated attacks by the Dead on Arrival, Lebende Tote and the Crimson Crusaders have cleared the Crooketon suburb of survivors. The (not quite so) Invisibles, fighting valiantly for almost 2 weeks, were forced to evacuate the suburb after the unrelenting mass of undead eventually washed over them. July 13 2006: With the clearing of food from the west and southwest of the city, the Totes look towards the northwest... Early Aug 2006: After nearly 2 weeks of confronting DHPD and almost a continuous round of being combat revived, killing our combat reviver plus any other sap we can and then in-turn being hunted down by the police and returned to sweet-sweet (un)life.....we decided to return to the "Mother-land" of Grigg Heights. We learned that DORIS and Red Rum were planning to PK every non-PK'r in the suburb. The Totes took a rather unique stand during this War.....we sided against the PK'rs and with the survivor groups. The "Grigg Heights PK War" lasted for nearly a month and casualties were high on both sides of the battle. Tempers were flared and many harsh words were said. Unfortunantly, what could have been a good time for all was ruined by bad feelings. We hope that time has healed some of these wounds. November 1-13 2006: The Lebende Tote maintain a firm stranglehold over their base of operations, Grigg Heights. November 14-19 2006: The recent influx of new additions to our family has been met with celebration the only way the Totes know how: feasting on the meat of the living. Nightly raids have intensified. December 2006 : The Lebende Tote spread their territory and had daily skirmishes into neighboring areas around Grigg Heights in an attempt to flush out their enemies. This had great success as NT buildings to the north and south of our territory where daily ransacked, as well as PDs. January 1-17 2007: The Lebende Tote have gone on a road trip to the North in search of fresh feeding grounds since Griggs was so cleared out. Currently the Lebende Totes are in Yagoton, and about to hook up with Mall Tour '07. The constant combat reviving however is an annoyance, with the result of many scientist being tracked down and gunned down in their sleep. January 21 2007: The Totes (while in Yagoton) decided to hook up with Mall Tour '07 and hit Bale Mall. In the evening of the 21st the Lebende Tote where part of the final wave that finished the NW corner of the mall and ransacked it. In fact it appears a Tote was the one to open the door. Its our dearest hopes that the mall will fall shortly. January 22 2007: Within a few hours Bale Mall fell to zombie hands. January 23-Febuary 1 2007: The Lebende Tote with the aid of Mall Tour '07 clear out the two (2) tech buildings in Yagoton and ransack them before moving back home to Grigg Heights. Mid Feb 2007: Lebende Tote opens up negotiations with the Minions of the Apocalypse to raid together while on vacation in South Blythville. |
