urban dead is a team player game and going alone will make it harder on you (by which i mean not following the rules of the suburb). that's the long and short of it. --[[User:Doctorgun|Doctorgun]] 00:33, 29 September 2008 (BST)

Keep in mind I '''HAD''' free running, for 38 of those times and the one which I spent 42 AP. There was that much overcading.--[[User:Gamestriker4|Gamestriker4]] 21:06, 28 October 2008 (UTC)

Revision as of 21:26, 7 November 2008

I removed the PKers reason from the page. That was a really pathetic excuses for PKing, the answer itself was griefing. --Jonathan 16:46, 26 December 2006 (BST)

  • Added back the PKers reason because removing it is Vandalism, doesn't matter if you don't agree, its still Vandalism. --TeksuraTalk 03:23, 24 December 2006 (UTC)
    • Explain first how exactly so many people would impersonate "crazy people". This is just pathetic, don't pretend it's a valid RP POV. --Jonathan 17:57, 9 January 2007 (UTC)
      • Of course one can validly RP a crazy fuck with an axe who's out to get anyone he doesn't like. In fact, things like the Alphabet Game give PKing a pattern, similar to that of a real-life serial killer. I don't believe that there is no such thing as griefing, because certain people in game do just that - grief. However, not ALL pking is griefing. Also, please don't remove something just because you disagree with it. This is obviously a very POV page anyway. --Daranz. t . mod . W(M)^∞ . 18:03, 9 January 2007 (UTC)
    • I don't have to explain. I just have to keep going to UDWiki:Moderation/Vandal_Banning whenever you delete that bit. Yes, I admit, some people do those things to greif, but this page talks about the in-character reasons as to why they would do that, not your own personal opinion. And reading your comments on the page, I find it hard to believe you even know what in-character means. --TeksuraTalk 08:33, 16 January 2007 (UTC)
So you agree that griefing does exist... why then, on a page entitled "Does Griefing exist", isn't there a section, somewhere on the page, saying "Yes, some people are arseclowns and do grief" (or words to that affect ;)). A better title for this page would be "Excuses for griefing", rather than what it is now, which is a question that it makes no attempt to answer, or even discuss -- boxy T L ZS Nuts2U DA 10:22, 18 January 2007 (UTC)
    • Deleting anyone's statements is vandalism. If you think it's ridiculous, you say so and explain why it is ridiculous. If you can't do that, then it is clear that their statement is not ridiculous at all. Now, as for griefing; there is no such thing RP-wise, because it can always be explained as a crazy person. But from a non-RP perspective griefing definitely exists. --Reaper with no name TJ! 19:42, 16 January 2007 (UTC)

Guys, what about people who constantly zerg to harass a human group? DK13 experienced it, and Umbrella Corp is experiencing it right now. Doctor Birkin 07:45, 12 April 2007 (BST)

Nevermind griefing, it's cheating. Here's what the official faq has to say about zerging: http://www.urbandead.com/faq.html#mult . --Toejam 18:57, 21 May 2007 (BST)

There is a perfectly rational reason for a survivor to de-barricade. If a building is overly baricaded, you cannot enter it from the street, and someone has to debarricade it. --Wiiwantxbox 00:08, 1 April 2008 (BST)

Griefing does exist you nooblets.Just look at Real Gamer! Please tell me how that's NOT griefing!Besides, this article doesn't even mention overcading, which from what I have seen,is a massive problem for both humans AND zombies!I mean,I shouldn't have to waste 42 AP just to get in to a building.I wonder if we can ever have a day in a survivior controlled suburb without some effing retards overcading for no reason or to follow some "Cade Policy/Plan" crap some idiots put on the wiki.I have died over 40 times because of overcading.--Gamestriker4 00:57, 20 September 2008 (BST)

awww, poor baby died. please. overcading is a problem but if you have free running (which you should) then it becomes a minor annoyance. people cade BECAUSE they don't want a zombie to break in. it SHOULD take 42 AP to get in or theres a problem. cadeing policy has saved my life and others many times. you die because you are not familiar with it. become so and stop whingeing. urban dead is a team player game and going alone will make it harder on you (by which i mean not following the rules of the suburb). that's the long and short of it. --Doctorgun 00:33, 29 September 2008 (BST)
