St. Simon's Hospital

Description

St Simon's Hospital had previous served Malton as a children's orthopedic hospital, offering free-of-charge medical attention to families in need. The interior is decorated with bright murals painted on the walls and the hallways are lined with drawings from the students of Brabner Row School. Much of what happened during the initial outbreaks at this hospital are unknown, though it is currently being used by the Malton College of Medicine in its attempt to service the Eastonwood suburb.

Malton College of Medicine has rearranged the hospital's flood plans somewhat to accommodate for the changing times; the ground floor is being used for admissions and new patients, the emergency ward is currently being used as a dormitory for students and survivors, and the Dean and staff have set up their offices on the fifth floor in the administrative wing. Rumors exist of a hot tub at the hospital, accessible only by the staircase leading to the decommissioned helipad.

History

When MCM arrived at St Simon's in the summer of 2009, the hospital was ruined. There were traces of previous occupation, scraps of old graffiti, but they were cleaned away along with the bloodstains. Anyone who remembers stories from the early years of the infestation should feel free to supply them here. Meanwhile, MCM will begin the next chapter.

Barricade Policy

MCM have proposed a barricade policy for Eastonwood, which can be found here along with the !zanbah plan, which is somewhat different. Unless St Simon's is under siege, MCM will maintain it at VSB++.

Current Status

MOB has passed through Eastonwood, and St Simon's is ruined. MCM is on a mission elsewhere just at the moment, but will return soon. Meanwhile, it will service the revive point at the cemetery one block north of the hospital [33,20]. Sherry Stringfield 19:24, 20 October 2009 (BST)
