Want some help
Making a group page?--RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 13:30, 29 January 2011 (UTC)
- Yes
What's the problem? --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 13:59, 29 January 2011 (UTC)
- Well, I'm not sure if I can copy and paste pictures in the groupbox. I've been following the template, and It has only worked with one picture so far. I keep trying one, but it doesn't seem to be working to well.
- IN order to show images on the wiki, you have to upload them first. On the left hand side of the page in the box called toolbox, theres a link saying upload file. Use that link. make sure you dont put any / in the file name. --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 14:04, 29 January 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks, sorry if this is an obvious question but what do I put for the destination section?
- You don't have to put anything in - it will automatically use the file name on the hard drive. You only need to put anything in if you want the file on the wiki differently named than the one on your hard drive. -- Spiderzed▋ 14:09, 29 January 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks, so now I'm on the pictures page, how do I put it on the groups page?
- Nevermind, I got it. Thanks. Any advice for a new group?
- If you want to use it in your group box, you simply enter the destination Image:Legion.jpg in the group_image= line. If you want to display it anywhere else on the page, you plainly use [[Image:Legion.jpg]], which will look like this:
- However, that might be a bit big for your purposes. In which case you would use the |?px parameter, e.g. [[Image:Legion.jpg|100px]] would display the image 100px wide:
