Santlerville is a suburb of Malton, located in the northeast of the city. The suburb contains one of the last, and possibly the greatest, bastions of commercialism left within Malton: Dowdney Mall.

During the dot-com boom of the 1990's, Santlerville saw a sharp increase in white-collar jobs. When the bubble burst, commercial development in the suburb stalled, though the towers and office buildings remained as new industries took hold. Dowdney Mall, one of the very last malls to be built before the outbreak, was built at the start of this "commercial era", opened in 2001 during a massive gala to celebrate the reinvigoration of the suburb. The young urban professionals that worked here didn't move in, but they had an increased incentive to hang around when the nightclubs began appearing.

Buildings of interest within the suburb, other than Dowdney Mall, include St. Columbanus's Hospital [74,24], at the centre of Santlerville, which can see regular zombie activity because of the nearby mall, NT Building and revive point.

Additionally, SW Santlerville can see regular zombie activity because of its proximity to Huntley Heights and Randallbank, with the principally targeted buildings being Dennis Row Fire Station (as it is an entry point) and St. Matthew's Hospital. Luckily, the head-quarters for the NE division of the Malton Fire Department are at the adjacent Burrough Row Fire Station.

March 26^th

[NecroWatch]] has reported in from the Hall NT Building with a scan showing 18 zombies at a cemetary, 17 zombies at Cotterrell Crescent Police Department, 14 zombies at St. Emelia's and Northeast Dowdney, 13 zombies at The Dewes Building and The Cosenes Building, 10 each at Beer Place School and a junkyard, and a few more scattered masses below 10, mostly in pairs and singular zombies. March 22^nd

The Dewes Building and Dowdney Mall have come under attack. With the Hall Building under zombie control for the past 5 days Santlerville is now lacking a working NT building. At least two known zombie groups seem to be present, those being the Dead Bunnies and the RRF. --Roorgh 23:24, 22 March 2009 (UTC)

Update: NecroWatch reported in from the Dewes Building. A recent scan had revealed that there were 82 zombies within scanning range of the facility. Of these numbers, 33 zombies at the Hall Building, 8 zombies were at the St. Emelia's Church revive point, 6 zombies were at both Austwick Square and St. Columbanus's Hospital. Meanwhile in Heytown, there were 8 zombies at Warren Bank and 7 zombies at Sixtus General Hospital. Interestingly there were no zombies detected at Dowdney Mall at this time. Of the remaining detected zombies, which numbered in the 1's and 2's, they could be found scattered across the area. --Mobius

At the time of this report, there is at least thirty zombies inside the ruined Northwest corner of the mall. There is approximately a hundred survivors left inside other corners. No power throughout the building. -- Kittithaj 15:54, 23 March 2009 (UTC)

Bra!nzWatch reported in from Dowdney Mall where there are currently 0 survivors in the NW corner, 0 survivors in the SW corner, 0 survivors in the NE corner, and 0 survivors in the SE corner. Zombie numbers respectively are 30, 4, 16 and 10. Dewes NT is also in ruins at this point.--DJ Deadbeat 05:15, 24 March 2009 (UTC)

March 20^th

Hall NT has been down and St. Columbanus's Hospital fell hard last night. There's currently nearly 30 zombies in each of those buildings. --DangerDan 13:45, 20 March 2009 (UTC)

NecroWatch has reported in from the Dewes NT Building with a scan showing 28 zombies at The Hall Building, 12 zombies at Dennis Row Fire Station, 7 zombies at The Dewes Building, and 3 zombies each at Burrough Row Fire Station, a junkyard and St. Matthews. The official radio frequency for Santlerville and the surrounding suburbs is 26.06 MHz. This station is called WTDB 26.06: The Dancing Beaver and broadcasts helpful survivor information and building statuses.

Survivors are encouraged to maintain power and radio transmitters in all resource buildings including Dowdney Mall. The phone transmitter building for the suburb is Heckworthy Towers and is usually kept powered and fueled and at EHB.
