You are in a clearing before a red-brick building with a radio tower. Surrounding is a chain-link fence interlaced with wires, constantly buzzing. The grass has been recently mowed.
- You lift a latch. The gate opens and so you enter onto the moist, recently-cut grass. But you don't think of the grass. You look at the red-brick building straight ahead and the metal-grey door—beyond, someone. It could be anyone at all. The worst of the worst, someone in-between. It hardly matters.
The gate closes behind you. The buzzing returns.
Possible actions:
- Proceed forward
Inventory:
- You carry only a whistle, a bent knife and a smashed radio. It has been a long ride. Your blue jeans are shredded; the T-shirt, stretched 2 sizes larger, is more red than white, and your shoes are unaccounted for. Overtop it all you wear a yellow rain jacket. Perched atop your head is a crumpled paper party hat.
