The Dobin Building
Description
Prior to the outbreak The Dobin Building was home to The Chancelwood Enquirer, a weekly newspaper circulated in Chancelwood and Raines Hills.
History
One of the oldest buildings in Chancelwood, the Dobin Building originally formed the eastern end of a three block line of terraced housing along what was then Sommerfield Street, Chancelwood village's main road. A tragic fire claimed most of the terraces in 1976 resulting in the the drastically needed redevelopment of the property. In an effort to preserve what was for so long the heart of Chancelwood, what was left of the central terraces was removed and the two blocks least damaged by the fire were saved and restored as the Dobin Building and the Gaffney Building.

Current Status
