Scarletwood Fuel Co-Op

Founded by the Urban Guerillas soon after their establishment in Scarletwood, the Fuel Co-op was created for the purpouse of supplying cheap oil to all residents of Scarletwood. Recently, fuel ferrying duties have been taken over by the GBP, though all residents of Malton are welcome to stop in and grab some gas, as long as they remain peaceable.

General Policy

This building is to be kept at EHB. If someone needs fuel and does not have free running, he may request fueling of a generator in Scarletwood by asking assistance from a GBP member either in person or by broadcasting a request on 27.86 MHz. Broadcasts should generally follow the form "Fuel Co-op, XY, XY". Please note that we are not able, at the moment, to supply portable generators.

All GBP members assigned to the fuel co-op will carry radio handsets tuned to 27.86 MHz, and should refuel your generator in less than twelve hours, depending on the time of the request. If more than twenty-four hours passes, please resubmit your fuel request and wait patiently.

News

05 Oct 2007 It has been four months since the last siege of Scarletwood, and I was foolish to have let it pass from mind. Once again, and perhaps even worse than before, the city lies in ruins. It's stalwart citizens are far from beaten, but until the seemingly endless swarm of undead move on, there can be no safety within the city's borders. The Fuel Co-op is herby disbanded until further notice.---DSGDarkRaven 6:00 PM 05 Oct 2007 (EST)

23 May 2007 The long siege of Scarletwood seems to have finally ended. The widespread destruction of generators left the Fuel Co-Op largely useless for many weeks, and break-ins at the fueling depot did little to help. Human control of the city is beginning to be reestablished, however, and generators are lasting long enough to be refueled. Security at the depot has been restored, and normal service will be available immediately, pending the citywide replacement of smashed radio transmitters.---DSGDarkRaven 10:51 AM 23 May 2007 (EST)

31 Mar 2007 At long last, the undead have pushed north and claimed Bland's Auto, home of the Fuel Co-op, as part of their territory. The GBP itends to fight this claim as long as possible, but for the moment, regular fuel service will be interrupted. Survivors are still welcome to stop by and requisition their own fuel, but all radio requests will be ignored for at least three days. We sincerely apologize for this disruption of service.---DSGDarkRaven 11:25 PM 31 March 2007 (EST)

15 Mar 2007 The ides of March have brought a flood of undead into Scarletwood, but so far the Fuel Co-Op remains completely operational. All remaining residents of the suburb are hereby reminded that in this perilous time, we (the members of the Fuel Co-Op) deeply regret being unable to supply portable generators. However, until the point at which the suburb is completely overrun, we are proud to continue fuel service in response to any radio requests we receive over the frequency 27.86.---DSGDarkRaven 2:58 PM 15 March 2007 (EST)

28 Feb 2007 Due to the perceived inactivity of the Urban Guerillas, and the impending hordes moving north from Danversbank, the GBP has taken control over management of the Scarletwood Fuel Co-Op. Fueling service will begin immediately, and will hopefully remain available throughout the impending siege.---DSGDarkRaven 12:28 AM 27 February 2007 (EST)
