Don't know if chev knows the procedure. Perhaps a message telling him you're ready to proceed? Oh his talk page? --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 17:47, 23 January 2010 (UTC)
Owsleybank groups
Hallo Maverick, with regard to your spring clean of groups: Rotter's Relief is actually still active in Owsleybank (even though we are mostly bleeding at this stage). Do you require a more formal notice? --Mummelmann 12:48, 1 February 2010 (UTC)
- Nope, this is good enough. I will note it that Rotter's Relief is still active. --Maverick Talk - OBR 404 06:19, 2 February 2010 (UTC)
Checking in....
I noticed Rotters Relief posted above, and you made them active.... I was hoping to confirm EVIL,... not sure if you knew or not,... but the only response required was on the talk pages. Any who,... we're still active. -Poodle of DoomM! T 04:24, 3 February 2010 (UTC)
- Don't worry that you haven't been confirmed yet, Poodle. We go back through and check all of the talk pages before we remove anyone. Confirming you early just saves us a little time later (at the expense of some time now, of course). —Aichon— 06:31, 3 February 2010 (UTC)
- Just checking in is all.... I thought it to be moving faster elsewhere,... and wanted to make sure we weren't missed... that said, thanks to all involved. -Poodle of DoomM! T 04:37, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
Already responded
on the forum......--RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 10:07, 5 February 2010 (UTC)
- Ah, see now if I wasn't at work I'd have all the tabs open and would have noticed... --Maverick Talk - OBR 404 10:21, 5 February 2010 (UTC)
We are still active in Dakerstown
FUACK is still alive and well. We are a small group so we may be hard to find if you're looking for us, but we're here. In the future, please check in with us at our forum before removing us from the active group listing. Egil 03:24, 15 February 2010 (UTC)
- A request was posted on your group's talk page that you confirm your activity. That same request was also posted on hundreds of other groups' talk pages at the same time as part of a semi-annual project to clean up the group listings for each suburb. Maverick was responsible for your suburb's groups, but there are only about a half dozen of us handling the project, and we don't have the resources to track down every single group listed in every single suburb, especially since the vast majority of the ones we remove are legitimately gone and no longer active.
- Maverick didn't remove your group mistakenly or because you're a small group and he couldn't find you in-game. He removed FUACK, just as he removed dozens of other groups across the city, because they failed to respond to the request that they confirm their activity. In the future, if you'd like to avoid this, the only way to do so is to check your group's talk page at least once every two weeks. The next time this project comes around, there's no guarantee that Maverick will be the one checking your suburb anyway, so that's the only way to be sure. —Aichon— 04:00, 15 February 2010 (UTC)
- My mistake. I admit I'm not familiar with the politics of such things as this. My apologies, Maverick. Most of our members are not active on the wiki, and I check it only rarely. I shall keep an eye on our group page in the future. Egil 06:11, 15 February 2010 (UTC)
- The next time we do the cleanup probably won't be until next year anyway, so you'll be fine for a good long while. Worst case scenario is that you get removed again and just have to re-add yourselves, which only takes a minute or two, thankfully. Anyway, sorry for the mix-up on our end as well. We tried to notify people in more ways this time around than we have in the past, but some active groups always slip through the cracks regardless. —Aichon— 07:26, 15 February 2010 (UTC)
