Some are NecroTech Buildings and can be identified by the "[NT]" appended to their name if you have the NecroTech Employment skill. Office buildings are tall enough for survivors to commit suicide from. They also provide a vantage point from which binoculars can be used. Office buildings can be barricaded normally.

Description

The Vearncombe Building is a large metal-and-glass building surrounded by railings.

Barricade Policy

In accordance with the Mockridge Heights Barricade Plan, this site is to be kept at Very Strongly Barricaded (VSB+2), in order to permit entry by rookies and those needing Free Running access. This location serves as an free-running entry to Lay Road Police Department. In the event of heavy zombie activity, barricades may be temporarily upgraded to EHB, but should be lowered back to VSB as soon as possible thereafter.

Current Status

Currently very heavily barricaded -- over-barricaded, except there are quite a few zombies around. One zombie is outside the building, and thirteen more on the local map: 1 NE at the Tomalin Building, 4 W at Lay Road Police Department, 6 E at Finnerty Auto Repair and 2 SE at Calvert Grove Railway Station.
