Talk:Item codes
Wow, this page was terrible! Spelling and grammar errors covering the page! I think I got most of it, but if you see something, please change it. Also, the title should be changed to "Item Internal Codes." -Mark 17:18, 30 August 2006 (BST)
Outdated?
with encumbrance system, this "length in inventory string" doesn't matter, does it? also what are internal codes for last added items (cristmass pieces, museum pieces, blunt weapons)?--Duke Garland 20:09, 21 April 2007 (BST)
- Well, it may still be possible to hit the inventory string limit before the encumbrance limit by having loads of radios (5 slots and only 4% encumbrance). After I look into this then I'll add some stuff - see my #Fixing below. Oops forgot to sign. --xensyriaT 17:53, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
- It seems to be possible but I think the limit has increased. I have a character with 16 radios and a flak jacket. He can still pick up an axe but not a radio, so I reckon the limit is now somewhere between 82 and 85. If I am correct then radios are the only item that will hit the inventory limit before the encumbrance limit. Unless the mobile phone or spray can have extra info in the inventory string. --Explodey 22:22, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
well, now i've added the info of new items. E,G and H seems to be x-mass items. --Duke GarlandTLCD SSZ 12:26, 5 June 2007 (BST)
Fixing
I propose that this page be deleted and the content be reorganised, resorted and put into a new page called something like Item Codes. The inventory info and actions that change the inventory aren't really appropriate here either, so I think that, after research into whether or not the 51 slot theory still applies (by adding loads of radios) this is split into an Inventory page, with that information put there. Forgot to sign. --xensyriaT 17:53, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
- To change title of the page Items internal codes -> Item Codes you don't need to use words "deleted", it's called moved. Reorganisation? Maybe. Uptodating? Yes, that would be good. --~~~~ [talk] 18:27, 11 December 2007 (UTC)

- :D I guess that it looks like that's all except for the I5s as pottery I also figured out that the comment that Christmas Trees used to take more than one inventory slot in the Decorative Items#Christmas Decorations works from these codes - I guess that these all take 3 slots too and that weapons in the attack list are ordered by these codes too --xensyriaT 23:53, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, i've no info on I5x yet and some items codes are lacking in the categories too. Comment about "taking more than one slot" - sure, trees codes are 2 chars. Never noticed how weapons are ordered :) --~~~~ [talk] 07:37, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
- iWitness records included now (search for option value="I and then the number, and it finds the drop list items). And I made a page on the Attack Codes mentioning the order (knives are the only exception, and it only applies to the other Melee Weapons) --xensyriaT 20:34, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
