Description
Barricade Policy
According to the West Boundwood Barricade Plan, Ivyleafe Row Police Department should at all times be at EHB, so it is secure, yet it's always accessible for survivors through Nikolai General Hospital.
History
Pre-Malton Outbreak
Built as part of the cluster that formed the Ivyleave Row Community Center in 1982, Ivyleave Row Police Department provided security for the neighbouring Dowell Library, the Cowie Museum, Theodore General Hospital, Milard Park and Nikolai General Hospital. In addition to basic security and 24-hour holding cells, it was also the center of all communication when an event took place at the library, the museum or the park. Due to its remote location, however, this rarely was the case and Ivyleave Row PD was mainly a quiet suburban office and in general, the only excitement was provided by Billy Hudson, a local drifter who once in a while trespassed on hospital property.
Post-Malton Outbreak
Due to its remote location from the Malton city center, Ivyleafe Row Police Department has been kind of neglected ever since the outbreak. Below is a short timeline of the events following the Malton Incident, please add new items to the top.
- December 20, 2011: After the Halloween party, the PD has been reconquered, barricaded and well lit for the holidays.
- November, 2011: Zombies are celebrating Halloween inside and have ruined the building for the occasion.
- July-September, 2011: Reports indicate the building is safe and lit for the better part of the time.
- May, 2011: The building lays in ruins after a short attempt to rebuild it.
- April, 2011: Lights are on inside Ivyleafe Row PD, where several unexperienced citizens are trying to man the infrastructure.
- December, 2010-January 2011: The building enters the new year in survivor hands, but by the end of the month, zombies have destroyed it.
- 2010: Several short rebuilding attempts by locals are being rebuffed by zombie hords and the PD spends most of the year in ruins or in an unknown status.
- October 19, 2009: EMRPs report the Police Department as ruined.
