24 March 2014 Collis Towers is still occupied by the illustrious Professor Crowbar, but MarieAntoinette is no where to be seen. MamaSalts is a friendly face, as is Andorinios Psycho and the odd child, Zack Reynolds. All is quiet in the tower as this group has slowly begun to consider each other family. ````

25 July 2011 Collis Towers is occupied by Professor Crowbar and MarieAntoinette on a full-time basis. Other staff members come and go on a somewhat infrequent basis. Guests are treated to champagne, the occasional pint of Bourbon Whiskey, a clean room, and all the cheese they can eat. --Queenie 03:04, 26 July 2011 (BST)

Description

Once upon a time Collis Towers was an upscale building in the heart of Tollyton. The folks who lived here before the quarantine mostly worked at nearby Peter General 60,62, St Joachim's 65,63 or St Boniface's 66,65 Hospitals. Doctors and nurses, technicians and office bitches loved having this address on their personal stationery. The short walk to Woodroffe Mall was an ideal after-dinner stroll through tree-lined streets. No expense was spared while building The Collis, and the residents took advantage of all the privileges offered them.

Current Status

Extremely heavily barricaded. Lights are on inside. Lots of footprints in all directions. Beachrat 04:07, 3 February 2012 (UTC)

History

Collis Towers was constructed in 1963 by two brothers as investment property. Their parents lived there and managed the building until they leaped to their deaths in 1972 for reasons still unknown. After the brothers died of AIDS in the 80s, the building was left to an eccentric daughter. She died during the outbreak from a drug overdose and refused to become undead. She is buried in a cemetery nearby 62, 69.

When the building first opened, a bistro operated on the ground floor. Soon followed an Italian trattoria that served the best gelato this side of Venice. There was a thriving spa located near the atrium area back in the day. An exercise room and smoothie bar were later added. In the 90s a hair salon opened, and the owner lived at Collis Towers. He was always available to residents in case of a hair emergency.

Barricade Policy

Collis Towers should be kept at VSB - very strongly barricaded. Management and security will do their best to barricade when necessary but visitors and residents are strongly encouraged to uphold the Uniform Barricading Policy at all times.
