Edmund General United Internship Application & Employment

Welcome prospective Interns to the exciting world of cutting edge Emergency Medicine deep within Zombie held territory!

The Edmund General Internship Program provides students a unique opportunity to work closely with doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals in North West Grigg Heights. As well as a competitive salary, joining Edmund General United does have its fair share of benefits. You'll always be where the action is and have a team of experienced players watching your back. With greater numbers you'll become a much more effective survivor. More zombies will be killed, more buildings will be secured and more areas of Grigg Heights and therefore Malton will be safe. You'll also receive free Health Insurance, free Life Insurance and top priority revivification at our very own revive point, Sherring Place.

Prior to signing up, you must meet at least one of the following pre-requisites below and complete an involved health clearance process before beginning your Internship:

  • All applicants should be human, pro-survivor, and have no other group obligations, because as much as we do appreciate the somewhat enthusiastic interaction with the walking undead, we simply cannot employ zombified persons within the hospital at this time.
  • Internship: Those applying for an Internship of our many Medics, Resident Doctors, Surgeons, or Security detail should at the very least have the ability to do some Free Running between buildings and be able to provide a Diagnosis of those who need urgent medical care.
  • Medical Doctors: Those applying for a Medical license at Edmund General United should be well versed in Free Running, First Aid, and Diagnosis to qualify as a Medical Intern.
  • Surgeons: All Surgeons must have knowledge in Free Running, First Aid, Surgery, Diagnosis, and NecroTech Employment in order to better operate on those less than alive shambling through the lobby.
  • Revivers: Those Applying for a chance to work up close and personal with personnel who have suffered a case of Living Death should be specialized in the studies of NecroTech Employment, Lab Experience, NecroNet Access and Free Running to access the NecroTech Facilities as these facilities are often high priority and kept a Extremely Heavily Barricaded at all times to keep the Rotters out.
  • EDU Security: All Security detail must be experienced in Free Running, Diagnosis and some form of basic combat: Basic Firearms Training or Hand To Hand Combat.

If you meet one of the above pre-requisites, great; Step One is complete, and you can now choose a suitable position on our Staff. Or if you'd just like to join up fresh from school please apply as an Intern.

  • Interns: Life as an Intern is never easy. But hey, no one told you life was gonna be this way. You wake up in the morning, throw on your scrubs or uniform and head out to learn from our greatest Doctors, Surgeons, and Security Officers! You're doing it for the good of man-kind! If you don't have any skills per say but want to get some serious experience on the front lines of medicine please apply even if you don't have any specific skills. We'll train you up and give you plenty of opportunities to stitch a head wound or try out that shiny new fire axe in the lobby when the zombies pay a visit. You'll be suturing in no time and the security staff will give you the finer pointers in how to make a good head shot!
  • Doctors, Surgeons and Reviver's -- We at Edmund General United, take pride in our work and are always on the look out for rough, tough and polished medical professionals to join our friendly staff and play a few rounds of golf with Doc (Bring your own clubs) Smithfieldsoner. Shift times can vary, but be sure to expect lots of action!!!
  • Security Detail -- If you don't have what it takes to cut it as an Intern, dont worry! If you have a propensity for violence, you're more than welcome to sign on as part of our Hospital security. The lobby can get a bit hectic from time to time and while Edmund General is dedicated to helping others, a little muscle can go a long way to keeping the peace. You can also expect to receive immediate medical attention as the need arises!!
