NecroTech Countermeasure Squad/Operation Crucifix
About the Operation
Operation Crucifix is a NecroTech Countermeasure Squad conducted strike on St. Mark's Cathedral and the southern sector of Spicer Hills. This operation has been in progress since 16 March 2006 - 16 May 2006.
Operation Goals
To cleanse Southern Spicer Hills of all zombie activity, and to make sure that St. Mark's Cathedral stays in survivor's hands.
Battle Log
16 March: One of the major objectives of the Spicer Hills Strike is to take and hold St Mark's. The NTCS were able to get inside rather easily, but now small groups of zombies are attempting to break in. Last night 1 broke in and bit me, but was quickly slayed by MrEMan. This morning I was able to kill 1 zed outside and improve the barricades on the southeastern quarter of the Cathedral.
18 March: For the time being the Cathedral is secure, with only 1 zombie outside of the doors. Wakerman Cinema, a building that is directly beside the Cathedral has two zombies inside at the moment. More news as it develops.
19 March: No attacks overnight. Ferals prowling around the outside areas of the cathedral though.
20 March: No attacks overnight, but there are two zombies banging on our doors and more small groups forming slightly to the east in Williamsville.
22 March: No attacks over the last two days. Operation Crucifix is postponed due to assist the Special Tactics And Rescue Squad in an anti-pker war.
05 April: Operation resumed, Mikhail Vicktor and Neotech Specialist are combating zombie forces around the cathedral. No break-ins since the operation has began. Only 1 zombie outside of the cathedral, but 4 are surrounding it.
06 April: All zombies scanned in southern Spicer Hills. This amounts to 9 of Spicer's current 21 zombies. Mikhail Vicktor engaged zombie presense outside of St. Mark's Cathedral, wounding the zombie before having to retreat to the safety of the Cathedral. Barricades are secure.
07 April: The cathedral was broken into last night. Mikhail Vicktor was wounded in a firefight, and he has attempted to repair the non-existant barricades on the north west sector. There is 1 zombie inside the cathedral, and 1 outside.
09 April: Mikhail Vicktor was killed inside of the cathedral, but Neotech Specialist quickly revived him. He is wounded and infected and needs medical assistance. Waits at the Rosenhogen Auto Repair for backup.
11 April: Mikhail Vicktor was killed in a breakin at Rosenhagen.
16 May: The Operation has been declared a success.
