Malton Police Department

Palprey Road Police Department is the most north-westpolice department in Malton. It's infamous for being one of the most uneventful police departments in town, both before and after the outbreak, and for it's limited infrastructure.

Description

The Palprey Road Police Department, an imposing yellow-stone building, has been designated a survivor fallback point by the Viper group. This means that in the event that another safehouse should fall to the zombie hordes and survivors escape they should move to this point for safety.

History

Pre-Malton Outbreak

The Palprey Road Police Department was one of the least active police departments in the city both prior to and after the beginning of the outbreak.

In 1994, the former building occupied by the PD had to make place for Club Ogburn, after activity levels in the PD dropped close to zero and where limited to regulating traffic and pointing wayward tourists back to the center of the city. There where plans to occupy a new office building in the vicinity, but a cheaper solution was found in the form of a former hot dog stand, converted to a one-man police station. In general, it was manned by older police officers who were close to retirement.

Most of the trouble of the zombie outbreak tended to migrate toward the middle of the city, giving many people in the general area a chance to get out of the city before it was locked down and surrounded by military forces.

Post-Malton Outbreak

After the initial outbreak, Palprey Road Police Department saw a slight rise in activity when different survivor groups moved into the area, yet it saw no major combat and was never elevated to a higher tactical purpose than emergency fallback point for the relatively unknown Viper group.
