Named after John Eric Rayner Staddon, the library previously was well-known for its wide range of materials on Staddon's favorite subjects; interval timing, "superstition," and behavioral optimality. However after the outbreak of the infection in Malton, most of the books lay tattered and scattered among the desks and floor.
