Reasons to change imbalance.

As of ten seconds ago, the Suburb danger levels recorded 7 at Very dangerous, and No ghost towns, which is the joint record since records began. Surely this is an indication that ruin isn't helping zombies in its present form? --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 20:15, 20 January 2008 (UTC)

Oh don't worry, 7 is probably on the high side. Before LUE came though, there were 3 Very Dangerous, that's all. LUE cause the surge and it's finally almost completely died down now that LUE has pretty much completely left the game.--Karekmaps?! 20:23, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
Just wanted to be current. My point is ghost town=zero. ruin aint all that. --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 20:25, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
Fine. One Ghost town. At least that will keep us necrowatchers happy, a race to get the ghostrecon badge can now begin!--RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 20:35, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
There's only like 5 zombies. Dunell Hills is red by the skin of it's teeth, if it weren't for a mob of zombies sleeping inside the NT the suburb would qualify for Ghost Town status, I'm tempted to change it anyway as it's about 3 zombies away from Ghost Town. --Karekmaps?! 20:47, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
I'm also pretty certain that Ridleybank probably shouldn't be red, but I have no one in the area. Don't know about Pimbank though.--Karekmaps?! 20:48, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
Do you reckon ghost towns are more of a draw for survivors? Pychologically I think they're easy to reclaim, as theyre empty. As for ridleybank, I hear all the zeds (100+ mind) are at Blackmore and everything else is survivored.--RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 20:52, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
And recently Eastonwood was definately living up to very dangerous, havent been there for a week though. I'm handing out at the elson building phone mast. Thats taking a beating.--RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 20:54, 20 January 2008 (UTC)

Karek's Vote Should Be Removed

Karek's Dupe Vote Reason does not follow the guidelines for a "Dupe" vote (No link provided). Billy Club Thorton  T!  RR  03:59, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

It doesn't need to have a link to be a vote, although it will be considered an invalid one until someone provides a link. --  AHLGTG THE END IS NIGH! 04:01, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
I think dupe votes that neither provide a link nor agree with an already given link should be counted as invalid and removed. Saying "It's a dupe!!1!11!" when no links have been provided by anyone is basically just saying, "I trust whomever's judgment that votes dupe after me and provides a link. And even though it's obvious that I haven't checked the supposed dupe to see if the two are in any way similar I think my vote should count."
I might as well vote spam saying, "Spam - If I bothered to look I'm sure I'd find a good reason why this is spam. If someone comes up with a good reason, then this vote will count, otherwise it doesn't."
I can understand "as above" being implied, but... "as below", when there's nothing below it? Really, if you think something's a dupe, but can't find the link, discuss it on the talk page. --Ms.Panes 10:24, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
It's never been a problem in the last 2-3 years. Dupes without a link just alert people to look for one, if no link is ever provided my vote wouldn't have been counted in either side. Btw, Funt's link is exactly the one I was thinking of.--Karekmaps?! 16:18, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
Thank you for the information about Dupe votes Karek, and Funt's link does account for the dupe vote. Sorry, still kinda newb at the wikiness, didn't realize that a linkless dupe vote was a request for someone to find one.  Billy Club Thorton  T!  RR  17:08, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
