Well, I've been fightin' fires with the best of 'em since about as long as I can remember. I'd put on a bit of weight, but since the infestation that's been comin' off nicely. My firecoat's a bit worn, but that's no matter.

Back in October of 2006 I rejoined my fellows at the Malton Fire Department for some retraining and restationing. Things've been going well so far, been stretchin' lots of old muscles. I've even earned a few of those new DEM merit ribbons. I never used to wear these things, but things've changed. It's good to hold on to those little patches of humanity, I guess.
