BeefStew, you've made a few reverts to the DARIS page, removing some rumours that DARIS has left Shearbank, which is fair enough. You shouldn't call that "vandalism" in the summary, though. Those rumours really are circulating, and people aren't sticking it in there to cause harm. Calling it vandalism is misleading. --Tocky 13:57, 23 Sep 2005 (BST)

The only reason half these "rumours" are circulating is that people add them to the wiki. Still, I've seen the edits he reverted, and unless people can add this information in a neutral manner it should count towards vandalism. I don't go around adding wild and unfounded rumours on any page, and neither should anyone else, regardless of whatever petty and vindictive agenda they might have. --Katthew 14:32, 23 Sep 2005 (BST)
Thing is, for the most part its not wild and unfounded rumor. I moved my zombie into Shearbank last night and the place is a dead zone. The mall was completely overrun, most of the buildings I came across had doors open and zombies hanging around, and I only found three barricades in 40 AP of milling around, one of which had a half dozen zombies in front. DARIS' moves and motives are rumor, but it is fact that Shearbank has been overrun by the dead. Now if DARIS can pull it together and purge the suburb by tonight, then I'll be willing to say they're in control of Shearbank and also very impressed. Otherwise, DARIS has lost control of Shearbank and the place is a charnal house. --Amazing Rando 14:54, 23 Sep 2005 (BST)
Katthew, your consistent removal of correct information that reflects badly on DARIS whilst claiming that you're fixing things is a very long way from being NPOV. Yes, some of the stuff you remove -- like accusations that the Many are back in Shearbank -- is "wild and unfounded rumours", but a lot of the rest of it isn't and the more you do it the harder I find it to assume that you're editing the wiki in a good faith attempt to make it a useful information resource for all players. --Morlock 15:13, 23 Sep 2005 (BST)
Rando, I don't really care what you think we are or are not in control of. Nor do I care for impressing you. The mall was never a major base of our operations, just a stop along the way. DARIS still lays claim to Shearbank and therefore keep any rumours to yourself and your own pages, and off of ours. --BeefStew 15:19, 23 Sep 2005 (BST)
I was under the impression that all users owned all wiki pages. Certainly Shearbank and DARIS are not the exclusive property of DARIS. -- Odd Starter 15:24, 23 Sep 2005 (BST)
Yes, but group pages are allowed to be POV (ever look at the Pretorian's page?) and as such from our POV Shearbank is still quite ours, and that shall be reflected on our page. --BeefStew 15:29, 23 Sep 2005 (BST)
It was decided early on that group pages are the province of the group, and are therefore allowed to be POV -- including, presumably, the removal of information that the group finds objectionable. So DARIS should be allowed to patrol its own page. Shearbank, however, is a neutral page and should be open to all edits that are not demonstrably false. BeefStew's notes were a little overwrought, but he didn't do anything wrong in deleting information from the DARIS page that DARIS didn't like. --Stankow 15:29, 23 Sep 2005 (BST)
