Battle of Pitneybank

Take this for what it is worth, but the tone (to me) comes across as somewhat survivor-centric as the prologue that you are writing seems to be setting up this grand last stand where the heroes of humanity finally fight off the unstoppable, evil horde. It's still bashing back in all but name. It also reads a little melodramatic for the sake of being melodramatic. Just my opinion so feel free to ignore this as some crazy rambling. -MHSstaff 21:00, 21 August 2012 (BST)

Ta. I'm currently channelling all the history pages and individual danger reports into a central narrative, with I-witness down (Until karek finds a host) and trying to collate info from a time before both danger reports and necrowatch scans, it will start off being survivor-centric. Then once Ive got all the individuals moves and countermoves sorted, Ill head over to the various zombie forums and throw in their perspective. Even the BB page itself barely mentions this.
As for the conclusion, you are way off. Survivors claiming that barricade blocking stopped them, rather than conceding that after a month, a huge horde was able to adapt and change until it finally claimed victory. Besides, there's a reason this is the last historicalish event until Blackmore 404. This event defined the belief that sieges were no longer winnable against uber-hordes, and showed the start of the mainstream acceptance of rat tactics, the final nail in the coffin that combat reviving was the ultimate sin, and a recognition that survivor and zombie groups needed disparate styles to be most effective. Hows that sound? --RossWHO????ness 21:15, 21 August 2012 (BST)
