Shaft Grove

Shaft Grove at the height of its success in the early 70's. A far cry from its current state.

Description

Shaft Grove is a long, narrow street in the suburb of Vinetown, with a noteworthy clump of dense trees (the Grove) at its lower end.

A once-thriving street of local shops for local people, 'The Shaft' leads the passer-by directly to the shadowy recesses of the Caunt Street PD.

History

Shaft Grove used to be the most important shopping area in Vinetown. This changed in 1977 when Mitchem Mall opened. Today it is full of boarded up frontages and shambling corpses.
