Description
Named for its founding donor Colonel Johannes Beale, a successful military officer and noted imperialist, the Beale library was home to a large collection of military archives, including many old relics. A large portrait if the Colonel in period uniform scowls down at visitors as they enter the facility. Interestingly, the foible-filled Mrs. Beale carried a pathological hatred of coffee, chocolate, and other "foreign influences", so these items were banned from the place before the outbreak.
