Carpark 2,81

Description

A zombie dog marks his territory.

Located on a small, steep hill, this multi-storey car park has commanding views of Foulkes Village which can be enjoyed from the viewing platform on its uppermost floor. With its vast expanses of concrete walls, surrounded by lampposts, it has proven enduringly popular with zombie dogs.

History

Prior to the outbreak this carpark was once intended for the hard-working staff of Crew Avenue Police Department and Cyril General Hospital. However, the growing commercial activity at Finlay Boulevard and the construction of the massive Mockridge Cinema cineplex left the police and hospital workers short of spaces. Even when the present multi-storey carpark was built on the site, those essential services workers were forced out by high tariffs.

Security cameras were placed in the carpark after many of the cars were keyed by local youths.
