No trains are running. There is nothing to be found in a railway station. Among the internal descriptions found in Railway Stations: "Its platforms are empty, its departure boards blank, all trains having left the city during the evacuation." "…a fire-damaged white-stone building surrounded by lawns. Behind railings, you can see railway tracks disappearing into the surrounding city." This building can be barricaded normally.

Cockburn Plaza Railway Station

History

Cockburn Plaza Railway station is possibly the only reminder of the village of Cockburn that occupied the secluded farmlands of what was to become Malton. Before Malton's rapid expansion the inhabitants of Cockburn where simple, god-fearing folk who, despite the phallic nature of their god were believed to have no sense of humour whatsoever.

In the early 90's some of the area surrounding Cockburn Plaza Railway Station was purchased from the city by a private investor. Rumours at the time suggested the investor planned to erect a large sperm bank on the site. This of course was the subject of many an immature joke at the nearby Woolford Boulevard School in Foulkes Village.

The history of Cockburn Plaza Railway Station has always been highly contested, while some claim the sperm bank was built at the site and caused problems for the clients due to lack of stimulating materials, others say the sperm bank was never more then plans, and the sites true historical significance comes from a minor incident involving a water table, a well and a nearby cemetery. Of course all records detailing the site's history were destroyed by the outbreak in 2005, so such arguments are never likely to be resolved.

Barricade Policy

Very strongly barricaded (VSB+2) at all times, unless otherwise stated. This building is an entry point for free runners and a safehouse for those without the skill.

Current Status
