Deakin Alley Police Department

Deakin Alley Police Department is the home of the Deakin Alley Gang, as well as a prime strategic location in Upper Nixbank. It has a shakey history, having been overrun by zombies quite frequently, but it is generally held by survivors. Deakin's residents keep a strict policy of having the barricades at the maximum, using the nearby empty buildings as entry points. As the walls once said, "Screw the newbies."

Description

A large red-brick building whose facade is beginning to crumble.

History

Deakin PD has a short but incredibly brutal history. Early in the quarantine of Nixbank, a band of civilians calling themselves the Deakin Alley Gang formed out of the building. They enacted the policy of maximum barricading. This plan has had moderate success. Zombies outside the building are either alone or in very large attack groups. The building has fallen repeatedly, resulting in a very paranoid surrounding populace.

Current Status

  • Fully 'caded. Myself and one other inside, cozying up next to the generator that I just set up and fueled. Because I'm amazing. Nermid 23:56, 2 April 2008 (BST)
  • Currently at VSB and the generator up and running. Lots of people inside with the occasional zed knocking on the barricades.--Mac2beme 10:35, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
  • chaosvolt 11:20, 12 October 2007(Central)- Seeing as Nermid hasn't updated in a while, I feel like doing it. When Extinction attacked in August, almost everone died (including me). Now the place is in much better shape. The odd feral knocking on doors, but the place is secure for now.
  • Nermid 09:27, 15 June 2007 (BST) - Again, long time with no update. Building still secure. Lots and lots of people inside. Lights on, cades high. Almost no zeds. However, the Hospitals to our SE are being ravished. They've helped us during our many, many, many times of need. Maybe we should help them...
  • 16:19, 3- December 2006 (Central ST) Been a long time since an update. Building secure, survivors and gen inside, cades high. Not much zed activity. Let's hope it stays that way. Nermid 22:22, 30 December 2006 (UTC)
  • 14:43, 03 November 2006 (Central ST) Deakin Alley interior clear. Zed assault in its third day. Cades up to EHB as of a few minutes ago. Reinforcements needed.
  • 24:24, 04 October 2006 (EST) No more...
  • 22:05, 28 June 2006 (BST) Deakin Alley is overrun with zeds. but they are killed.
