Earletown is a suburb of Malton, located in the northeast corner of the city. Once a bustling area within Malton's northeast industrial corridor, a series of safety code violations led to a number of fires that destroyed much of the eastern industry. The workers from Rolt Heights led the campaign in the region to have stronger restrictions on company, but the government responded by promising an increase in fire stations, built through pork barrel support at the national level. Because of bureaucratic obstacles, most of the fire stations were not completed until 2005, just before the outbreak.

General Information

A quiet suburb, usually known for its lack of zombie activity, Earletown benefits from its proximity to Treweeke Mall, in Dulston. The lack of resource buildings (no Police Stations and only one NecroTech facility) may help explain why Earltown is a low priority target for zombies -- and not among the most popular destinations for survivors.

25.96 MHz: "... Earletown is still active, about sixty on the streets ... a few big groups, but they're spread out ... several buildings with power ... heavy structural damage ... the Wortley Building has definitely fallen ..."

Downgrading to Dangerous due to the departure of MOB. Now the only thing left to do is to repair the damage and get the suburb up and running again. -- Kittithaj 22:36, 12 November 2009 (UTC)

November 9th

Earletown's infrastructures are thoroughly ruined. Only some buildings of lesser importance are left standing. It would take weeks for the locals to patch things up again. The only good news is the MOB has left for Rhodenbank to the East. -- Kittithaj 21:54, 9 November 2009 (UTC)

November 8th

With the Official Zombie Target List completed, The Militant Order of Barhah, hungry and in a pissy mood, begins to shamble away looking for fresh eats. -- Grogh 01:08, 9 November 2009 (UTC)

November 7th

With no one to stop them, the MOB continues to wreak havoc throughout the central Earletown. All three factories in the area were destroyed. -- Kittithaj 01:39, 8 November 2009 (UTC)

November 6th

The MOB's surprise attack caught the unprepared Earletown by surprise. As such, they are free to rampage through the center of the suburb. Clare General Hospital fell to a dozen zombies today. -- Kittithaj 20:44, 6 November 2009 (UTC)

November 5th

The Militant Order of Barhah entered Earletown early this morning, 15 minutes later Etheldreda General Hospital lay in ruins. No survivors survived. -- Grogh 01:31, 5 November 2009 (UTC)

The Coomer Building and Pulling Auto Repair have both been overrun, and ruined. Other buildings in the immediate area should be considered at high risk.--Aivanther 16:49, 5 November 2009 (UTC)

Barricade Policy

To discuss changes to the barricade plan, please go here. Current Inaccuracies: The Acourt Arms should be barricaded to VSB.

There is another conflicting barricade plan, the Suicide Prevention Protocol of the survivor group BOW. Suburb dwellers should discuss which is the official plan to use to prevent further confusion, from both locals and visitors alike.
