Description

Mermagen Street is an open street located in the suburb of Pescodside. In the days before the outbreak the street was considered "forgettable" by many citizens who drove or walked down it. Of course since zombies started walking the streets of Malton the situation has changed. This street is now one of two active revive points within Pescodside, with the other location being Otto Street (91,16) to the southwest.

Another revive point, Sirl Plaza (93,10), was closed back in March 2006 due to the continued harassment from survivors who often killed zombies awaiting revival at that particular location. Due to public consensus the plaza revive point was shutdown.

Revive Point

Mermagen Street functions as a revive point for Pescodside. It is located at coordinates (94,14) just to the northwest of the Inman Building, a minor NecroTech building.

The history of this location after the "Malton Incident" began with the survivor group known as the Sons of Korhal, who had declared they would provide revivification services at this location. But in March of 2006, after several months of service, the SoK chose to disband their group which in turn placed a degree of uncertainty over whether Mermagen Street would continue functioning as a revive point. The Pescodside Defense Alliance has claimed that they will monitor this revive point, and the Friends of the Featherstone Library have also been known to check this location from time to time in order to revive zombies found standing here.

In September 2010 the Burchell Arms Regulars pledged to regularly patrol this revive point alongside their Dulston Alliance allies. Requests can be posted here.

Medical Assistance

Mermagen Street does not provide any clinic facilities and is thus not considered to be a clinic. The revivification point does serve as a simple triage area where dead survivors can hope to rejoin the living and thus, the battle. Because of the open nature of the point, members are warned to use the facilities at their own risk should any zombie(s) turn hostile.

Revived patients can either head north to Treweeke Mall in Dulston or the nearby hospitals - St. Ninian's Hospital (90,15) to the west or St. Bartholomew's Hospital (98,14) to the east - for further attention post-revivification.

Current Events

September 27th, 2010 - The Burchell Arms Regulars have pledged to regularly patrol this revive point.

March 4th, 2007 - Mermagen Street continues to serve as Pescodside's primary revive point in the suburb, with the fastest revival response time. In the wake of the Mall Tour '07 invasion of Treweeke Mall and the fall of the Waish Building, undead survivors continue to seek revival here and other local areas.
