Description

Spence Row Police Department is one of 3 police departments in the NW corner of Brooke Hills. The building is constructed of fairly bland concrete with a revolving door up front and steel doors throughout the rest of the building. The outside surface is scratched and covered in old spraypaint as well as bullet holes. Upon entering it is apparent that the building has been ripped up on more than one occasion. Most of the equipment is destroyed and all that remains is what is left in one of the many armories in Spence Row PD.

Spence Row Police Department is part of the Department of Emergency Management NW division, District #3. See DEM for details.

History

Spence Row PD was built at the same time as the neighboring Swallow Lane Police Department. The simultaneous construction of two police departments adjacent to one another led to widespread complaints of corruption at Malton City Hall. It was later revealed that, rather than corruption, a low-level city employee had inadvertantly accepted two bids for the same project, and he had simply hoped nobody would notice.

The building was constructed by the Spence Construction Group, who agreed to install high security doors throughout the PD at wholesale cost in exchange for the naming rights to the station for a period of 5 years. This contract has expired since the outbreak, and calls to the Spence Construction Group to extend the contract go unanswered. It is widely believed that the entire company was turned into zombies after one of their high security doors failed at their corporate headquarters.

Spence Row was intended to be used as a temporary holding place for convicted prisoners and a reserve armory if the rest of the suburb's PDs were unavailable. At the time of the outbreak there were very few convicts in holding and they have since escaped into greater Malton.

Barricade Policy

Spence Row PD is usually kept at VSB, but has been disputed recently due to a low survivor population in the building.

Currently being fought over between small group of survivors and the zombie hordes. Claiming of Spence and Swallow Lane is vital to reclaim the suburb of Eastonwood.
