Zerg

Hello ARFCOM. I'm Dorothy Zbornak of the Cotterrell Crescent Police Department in Santlerville. Some of your members have recently stopped by, and we've been happy to host you. We do, however, have a problem with one of your members, 9MMSMG. He has brought one of his alts along with him into the PD, 9MMAR15. When questioned about the similarity in their names, 9MM told us that he wants to keep both his characters together in the same place. We then explained to him the concept of zerging and explained that it is against Kevan's rules and, as such, is cheating. He replied by saying that he has paid Kevan $5 and feels he can now do whatever he wants, so he will be keeping his characters together. Obviously, we do not want to be harboring zerg characters in our PD, because that would make us accessories to 9MM's cheating. I ask that you please talk to your group member and ask him to move at least one of his 9MM characters at least 10 blocks away. I have not yet contacted Resensitized as I wanted to give you the opportunity to address this first. However, if no action is taken, they will be contacted. I'll give you a couple of days to contact your group member or respond to me before anything is done. I thought it might be helpful to remind all concerned about the definition of zerg and of multi abuse. Also, remember Kevan's official UD policy...

Am I allowed to play multiple characters?

You are, provided that they lead completely separate existences within the game - your characters should not collaborate, nor share (or stand outside) the same building. Multiple characters found to be working together in a suspicious fashion will be automatically flagged, penalised or even banned permanently by the system. If you're running a few characters, it's best to make sure that they stay in separate suburbs.
