DRLFF/Messages

Command just wants to thank those responsible for collecting and/or guiding the undead and lost personnel to HQ. // Belgianrofliron 19:54, 18 June 2009 (BST)
FLASH priority: Report to the HQ, immediate. Zed form, human form, does not matter. If you are marked as deployed, RTB // Belgianrofliron 03:28, 18 June 2009 (BST)

DRLFF/OOC

Expansion

We should try to establish some other bases of operations for two purposes.

  • To give the DRLers somewhere safe to stay in case they don't spawn near Roywood (ie: my first character spawned 350 AP away from Roywood), both expanding our raiding capabilities and expanding the network of safehouses we have
  • If our HQ gets attacked, where are we going to go?

I think it/they should be 1 day's AP from Factory 0, 16 to start with. From there, we can web out. If anyone is willing to spend their points scouting, it would be nice to know what's out there.

I'll go out tomorrow.

<Subiw> we don't have enough of a userbase to expand at the moment <Subiw> at least I don't think so <CherryT> Maybe <CherryT> 13 players... <CherryT> 6 go off and 7 maintain the base? <CherryT> *HQ <CherryT> Might work <CherryT> Never been involved in fitan in Urban DEad <CherryT> wait <CherryT> sorry <CherryT> 9 players <CherryT> Yeah you're probably right Subiw <CherryT> We at least need some players with buildan skills <Subiw> plus our hq is a factory <Subiw> it's not essential to survival <Subiw> we can scoot off and find another hq pretty quickly <CherryT> true <CherryT> maybe we should just consider "routes" of escape

Zerging

You do realize, that having two of the same people within the same group with two+ characters can mark you as zerging right? Ref: Chilisbak. Thought I'd give you a heads up. -- THELORDGUNSLINGER 20:59, 23 June 2009 (BST)

Group affiliation is not related. Geographical proximity is important--at least to the automated systems. I'm sure a lot of people would QQ if they found out I was running 9 alts, but those 9 alts are all in completely different suburbs. Internet iz srs bizniz. // Belgianrofliron 03:42, 21 July 2009 (BST)
My mistake for the use of incorrect terminology. Whether or not 'Internet iz srs bizniz', remains to be seen. I'm just attempting to politely point out to you that having alts within a group, if it can be proved (which you've already done), can still mark you as 'zergs' and put on the 'Zerg Liste'. Technicality's aside, I was just attempting to be of assistance. -- THELORDGUNSLINGER 04:28, 21 July 2009 (BST)
And, no one cares. It's a game. How about you not get such a boner over it. // Belgianrofliron 04:51, 21 July 2009 (BST)

Thanks for the helpful advice. You seem so intense. I look forward to future discussion. -- THELORDGUNSLINGER 04:54, 21 July 2009 (BST)

You're welcome. and next time, don't offer advice when it isn't requested, Mr. Smarty Pants. No one cares. // Belgianrofliron 19:59, 21 July 2009 (BST)
He does have a point though. A lot of the older groups tend to get their panties in a huff over this stuff. I personally find my self not caring about zerging anymore though, so I'm not here to bitch. Just trying to reaffirm the fac that you might have trouble later on. Good luck, and fuck yeah Cortex Command!--Mr. Angel, Help needed? 22:33, 24 July 2009 (BST)
I wouldn't be so rude to someone who's trying to be helpful, tbh. As SA said, groups who zerg are usually promptly destroyed by zerg hunters/Pkers, so he could have just saved you a lot of bother.
Oh, and having two alts in the same group, but outside of geographical proximity isn't seen as kosher by a lot of groups, for the record. Quite a few groups still do it, but it's definite metazerging or zerging depending on one's definition of the terms. Linkthewindow  Talk  08:57, 1 August 2009 (BST)
They're not even in the same group. I put the table there so as to have easy access to my table of units. Go to each of the profiles, you are see they are unaffiliated. if it bothers everyone so much that the table is on the group page, I will move it to my user space. I don't know why everyone says that these alts are in the same group when they are not. But in the interests of arbitration, I will move the alt table elsewhere. // Belgianrofliron 19:59, 8 August 2009 (BST)

So, are we cool now? cause I dont know. We took Grif alts from here, so we will be unaware what he does. Can we finish this e-drama--Skiv 00:23, 25 July 2009 (BST)?

Can I have a dollar?--Mr. Angel, Help needed? 05:22, 25 July 2009 (BST)

Orphans

You have several pages that aren't linked to anything. COMPOL, DRLFF/GrifAlts, DRLFF/Orders, DRLFF/Personnel still shows up as unlinked when used as a template/subst - this post should take it off the list though, DRLFF/Skills, DRLFF/ThorAlts, DRLFF/UserRow - this page is completely blank by the way. If you want it deleted you can post it on A/SD. Thanks.--– Nubis NWO 23:46, 18 August 2009 (BST)
