| Chancelwood is a suburb of Malton, located in the north of the city. Before the outbreak, Chancelwood was considered one of the most well-educated suburbs in all of Malton, due in no small part to the heavy concentration of schools in the suburb. The suburb's main attraction was [[Rodges Stadium]], a sprawling four-block athletic complex which frequently drew fans from across to see Malton's professional hockey and basketball franchises. During the early outbreak, Chancelwood was deserted as most inhabitants evacuated across the city's northern border. Sources outside Malton confirm that as the city's borders closed, the lone residents who remained behind had sealed themselves inside Curton Mansion.

| Earletown is a suburb of Malton, located in the northeast corner of the city. Once a bustling area within Malton's northeast industrial corridor, a series of safety code violations led to a number of fires that destroyed much of the eastern industry. The workers from Rolt Heights led the campaign in the region to have stronger restrictions on company, but the government responded by promising an increase in fire stations, built through pork barrel support at the national level. Because of bureaucratic obstacles, most of the fire stations weren't completed until 2005, just before the outbreak.

| Dulston is a suburb of Malton, located in the northeast corner of the city.

| |
| Before the outbreak, Dulston was a relatively peaceful suburb with a booming textile industry and several NecroTech buildings where new employees were trained. The suburb's main attraction happened to be Treweeke Mall, which frequently lured shoppers from the surrounding suburbs. During the outbreak, Dulston was deserted and most of its inhabitants were to be evacuated by a military convoy. However, military sources outside of Malton report that the convoy never arrived. It was assumed to be lost, with the evacuees joining the ravenous undead or scattered throughout the city.

| Dulston possesses a high concentration of resource buildings, including four NecroTech facilities, three hospitals and five police departments. This has contributed to its lasting strategic importance. Other locations of interest include St. Barbara's Church (98,2), Troubridge Cinema (99,0), the Pepperell Museum (91,4), Parrott Towers (94,4), and the ghost-haunted Caffin Library (95,9).
