It's not particularly hard to take screenshots on your phone, so that's not a valid excuse, but even if it was, that'd still only excuse you, and not every other member of your group. Where are their screenshots?

Also, I don't know if you're aware of this, but this whole fracas is very public and has a number of spectators. Speaking as one such person, I feel as if you're not considering what this looks like to all of us. The evidence you provide is how you will be remembered, since it's the only thing that counts. This community has been burned by too many people making false claims. At this point, it's "pics or it didn't happen", basically, and right now, it's looking like none of your claims happened.

I'm reminded of a previous case where the evidence was extremely one-sided. A guy named Corn claimed that he managed to drive away a coalition of survivor groups and the Philosophe Knights in the "Battle" of Krinks by killing them all repeatedly...and then backed up his claims with just a screenshot or two of kills against the coalition members. Naturally, he turned into quite the laughingstock when evidence was provided by the coalition of survivor groups and the Knights which showed that he not only had his ass handed to him repeatedly, but that he actually fled the battle halfway through and didn't come back until after the battle ended when the building he was "defending" was turned into a giant piñata.

From the outside looking in, this whole incident feels similar, and you'll go down in infamy just like Corn if you don't turn this around. It's fine to trust the word of people if you know them personally or are just doing something within your group, but if you're going to be making claims against another group in public, you had best back those claims up with hard evidence if you want to be taken seriously, otherwise we'll assume you're overstating things. —Aichon— 07:01, 26 August 2013 (BST)

Hi there. I feel that you should know that up until this very moment, every single out-of-character interaction I've had with your group has been a pleasant one. I've talked with Payne, Cyber, and others on numerous occasions, and I was once invited in-game to join your group. While I declined the offer, the person offering it was gracious and polite, both in the request and in his response to me when I declined. He was a credit to your group. In contrast, you've just made a best effort to erase any good will that the others in your group have established. Kudos to you.

The fact is, I don't have an overinflated sense of the wiki's worth, but I do appreciate it for the role it plays in the community, such as being a recruiting tool for many groups, including your own. How do you think it looks to wiki users when you insult them out of one side of your mouth while asking them to join your group from the other? Hell of an attitude problem you have there, and you're only making things worse for yourself by combining a lousy attitude with a lack of evidence, since the lousy attitude alienates people, while the lack of evidence destroys credibility. That's all I was trying to point out, and I was trying to be friendly about it too, since, as I said, I've only had good interactions with your group up until now (with the exception of some in-character stuff, of course).

It's your prerogative to treat me as you want, and you should know that I'll respond accordingly, but it seems strange to me that a group would attack someone coming to them on friendly terms. I don't see talking in character any different then talking out of character on the wiki. it seems like role playing has become an excellent excuse to act however you please. players from NWO replay in game for a reason. talking in character or out of character doesn't change where the words come from. my attitude is fine and I will also respond accordingly as well. I have asked you to join in the past, but it doesn't mean I can't change my mind about wanting you to join and I still respect your decision to stay out of the group and treat you as such. this discussion isn't about screen shots, it's the fact that cobra can have proof of PKING us more but still be asses about it. I've also stated that cobra just looks bad Pking low levels and players who don't partake in Pking. we have players partaking in killing cobra, but I still value individual identity and choices for the group members. this means they can do what they want and still be a member if that's what they want. I wouldn't care if cobra wanted to recruit on our boards as long as they weren't ass hats about it. I wouldn't care if players went over to PK, even though they've been roleplaying jerks. cobra can twist up a story saying they've defeated NWO but they can't twist a story saying they defeated an individual player in the group.H4ppy 24 7 08:44, 26 August 2013 (BST)
