Description
Waddington Towers, or simply "The Wadd" to locals, is a high-rise tower located in the suburb of Dulston. Built in 1951 Waddington Towers was owned by the Firestone Textiles Company which dealt in the manufacture and shipping of industrial yarn. The company expanded on its successful business operations in following years by opening two new warehouses. Then in 1958, Chairman Hoss Frueman, lost the entire company in a game of high-stakes poker to Maxwell Standish, owner of Standish & Ludlow. Many people reported that Mr. Frueman took the loss badly, and these reports would later be used against him in the following year.
In 1959, the first high-rise fire in Dulston took place at Waddington Towers when a massive late-night explosion rocked the entire building. While Waddington Towers still stands thanks to the tenacity of Dulston's fire crews that day, especially those from Stembridge Crescent, word spread that the cause of the fire was arson caused when a remotely denoted explosive was triggered in one of the upper floor offices. Reporters latched onto the story and called the attempt to blow-up Waddington Towers as "Blowing the Wadd". The investigation into the arson led police on a manhunt for Mr. Frueman, but it was not long before they managed to track him down to a rented room at the Speak Motel. Police reports indicate that they entered to find him already dead, hanging from the room's ceiling fan, while a search of his car found several empty gasoline cans. The case solved it closed one of the darker chapters of Waddington Tower's history prior to the "Malton Incident".
In 1975 it was determined that the property on which Waddington Towers stood was more valuable than the aging building itself. With this in mind Standish & Ludlow had operations in the building suspended and Waddington Towers demolished to make way for a new building. Waddington Towers was rebuilt in 1978, with the new building being taller and far more modernized than the original. Standish & Ludlow wasted no time returning the building's previously displaced staff back to work.
These days Waddington Towers remains bereft of true purpose, serving only as shelter for the survivors of Dulston. As to what exactly the future holds for the building, only time will tell.

Barricade Policy
Barricades should be kept at Extremely Heavily at all times. The true purpose of this building is to serve as a heavily fortified shelter for Malton's veteran survivors. This ruling was set forth by the Dulston Optimal Defense Diagram and is enforced by all member groups of the Dulston Alliance.
Current Events
December 10th, 2008 - Metal Fox recon reported that Waddington Towers were back up. Take the report for what it's worth people.
December 1st, 2008 - Rotten Ray, of the D.I.T.P.S, has reported that the towers are still standing. At this time the building is Very Strongly barricaded, but bereft of survivors. This isn't surprising after the attack by the Militant Order of Barhah, as many survivors fled Dulston in search of shelter farther west or south of the suburb. The fact that the building is barricaded though does provide hope for survivors seeking shelter from roving bands of ferals still hunting in the suburb.
August 14th, 2008 - The Gamer's convention has come to Dulston as The Gamer's Haven has moved its base of operations here.
November 15th, 2006 - Members of DORIS persist in their claims of controlling all Dulston. Taking a page straight from Conquerors 101 DORIS has instigated a policy whereby local buildings and streets throughout the suburb have been renamed by their group, in this case, the tower is now known as the Sonny Corleone Towers as far as DORIS is concerned.
