Wasteland 82,53

Description

Garden care by the Malton Marines.

A barren, um, wasteland.

History

This area used to be Gyles Isgar's private garden, with extensive groves of trees.

A year to the day before the Malton Incident began, however, the Malton Marines closed the neighbouring Museum and library without notice, cleared all visitors and residents from nearby blocks, and napalmed the gardens. Sounds of shelling and small arms fire were also heard by those beyond the sealed-off area. Depleted uranium is rumoured to have been used, and has been implicated in some quarters as a contributing factor in the subsequent zombie outbreak.

Why the Marines took such a sudden and decisive dislike to Isgar's garden has never been adequately explained; some say he secretly collected gnomes which mocked militarism.

Could this gnome have started World War Z?
