Description
This tall building has a mobile phone mast rising out from the roof and is a landmark in Yagoton. When the building is powered, it enables mobile phone service to the suburb. To power the building, generators can be found in Bale Mall 3 blocks to the northwest, while fuel can be found in Ainslie Auto Repair to the northeast. All visitors are kindly reminded to keep the building powered up.
Spray painting the building is frowned upon and earns no XP. Although this was once a famous building, the subsequent looting of the building after the outbreak means that there is not much to be found there after the quarantine.
Workman Towers, together with the nearby Willmington Towers, gives Yagoton a distinctive skyline, visible even in the neighboring suburbs of Malton. The views from the uppermost floors are spectacular. If one is not careful, one can plummet to death falling out of the windows of the building.
History
August, 2015 Due to attacks that occurred in the neighboring suburb of Millen Hills, the DWRX 28.54 news team decided to open up a secondary broadcast station. Up until now, DWRX uses Workman Towers as its secondary broadcast station.
Barricade Policy
According to the Yagoton Barricade Plan, this building is to be kept at EHB at all time to protect the generator and the mobile phone mast. Members of the public visiting the vicinity are encouraged to help maintain the barricades within Workman Towers. The nearest free running entry point is The Beckey Arms, one block east and two blocks north.
Current Status
10/05/2015 Generators was destroyed by a GKer. Barricade is at EHB.
