Basic Info:

Description

A multilevel office building that was built with inspiration from the Art Deco style . Bearing granite as the foundation and with marble for the breadth of the exterior, this proved to become one of the most expensive and highly regarded structures in all of west Malton. The Doric columns which line the front-and-rear entrances to the building reach to the top of the small skyscraper, 15 levels above ground. Through time, this once shining beacon of the possibilities of new opportunity in Malton quickly descended into ruin due to neglect and consistent damage to the interior due to looting and violence. Sporting only the thick soot covered columns as a greeting for its few visitors, this icon has shed its beauty of gleaming walls and capturing texture among the windows and chilled-artistic patterns.

History

Built in the mid 20th century by several newly-integrated Eastern Europe immigrants. Displaying their pride for their homeland whilst showing their love for their new city, they decided to give back to the area both economically and aesthetically by creating an insurance company. This insurance company served primarily the various foreign grocers, bodegas, and pubs in the Grigg Heights suburb. The employees were mostly former gang-members in their old countries. Wishing to remain free while utilizing their newfound college education and former gangster skills, it was decided amongst the investors to go into business. Naming their building after a more recognizable surname, they managed to stay in business until the early days of the outbreak.
