BBC/Conflicting View about the fall of Fort Creedy
Return to Front Page--->BBC
Late last night, I recieved a message from one of Fort Creedy's defenders in the recent Silent Night Slaughter / BB2 battle. This fighter stated that he wished to set the record straight about just why Fort Creedy fell & to disspell the rumours that there was a massive PKA event that led to the collapse of the Fort. The identity of the Creedy defender will be known only as "Anonymous" per the agreement between the two of us for this Op-Ed article. I've also taken the liberty of editing the text between "Anonymous" & myself to help with the flow of the article. Les Nessman: You wished to talk with me about the fall of Fort Creedy? Anonymous: Yes, basically about several things. About the PKers in general etc. I was at Creedy. LN: Really? Anonymous: Yes, I saw little PKing and the massacre in the gatehouse... well no one I know saw it....as in NO ONE. LN: So then, what happened? Anonymous: I've played for two years and well....basically the Gatehouse was under heavy attack. Zombie break ins had continued for around a day with casualties rising. I'd offed 10 or so and dashed to reload in the armoury. After I came to *more AP* I stumbled back over and the place was a mess. More zeds inside....but no PKers. The fort was filling with zeds and I was infected and later revived. NO pking activity on the level they claim. LN: So, your saying that the Silent Night event was a hoax? Anonymous: Yes, the massacre in Fort Creedy where the PKA claim 130 died. LN: Yea, one and the same. Anonymous: I dont think it happened. Nothing unusual happened in the fall of a fort that I've seen before. There was NO mass panic of ZOMG Pkers like usual....just ZOMBAHS! LN: OK, so, your saying that it was the zombie hordes of the BB2 that took down Fort Creedy and the PKers had little effect if any on it on it's fall. Anonymous: Yes, it's pretty damming. I'm saying those screenshots are fakes. (I) can't prove it but... it's happened before. LN: Ok, that was my next question. So, are there many others down at Creedy that are saying the same thing? (long silence) LN: Hello, you still there? (even longer silence) It was at this point that I concluded that the interview must be over. There was either a connection loss or zombies broke into Anonymous' safehouse. I hope to hear back from him soon. Of course this is only a preliminary article that will be followed up on hopefully as soon as I get more information. I've asked for other survivors involved in the fight to contact me. I hope to hear from them soon. --Les Nessman BBC 17:33, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
