Confessions of a NecroTech Employee
I was not in the suburb to hear about the incident on the third of July, but I spoke with someone who witnessed it firsthand.
Evacuation of the Pitman Mansion had commenced two days earlier, and the building was barricaded. Presumeably it was city officials, business leaders, people of that sort being removed from the city. The morning of the third progressed as the previous two days had - people being ferried out of Malton by a single helicopter. The evacuation was both fascinating and disgusting to civilian onlookers I spoke to, allegedly because of the leisurely pace set by the rescuers. Citizens with binoculars claim that on the third day, the civilians - barely over half of the group which had entered the mansion - had nearly all been evacuated.
At sometime around mid-afternoon, there was an explosion above the mansion, and a horrendous crunching noise was heard; shortly afterwards men in military fatigues stormed out of the building and began to head east.
Within a timeframe of a half-hour, the easily recoginizeable Quarantine Force burst into the building, and gunfire was heard. Beyond that, I know nothing of the event other than the fact that explosions were also heard from a handful of other buildings - including Necrotech laboratories.
