History
Maishman Bank founded in 1945 after the war started out as a way to help veterans rebuild their lives in the freedom they fought to protect. Maishman Bank was known for being a strong presence in the community by giving low interest loans to many women's shelters and churches in Molebank and the surrounding suburbs. It helped establish the first orphanage in 1955 by providing the funding to convert a burned out Police Department.
During the stock market crash of the 80s Maishman Bank was bought out by a larger bank and eventually closed down in favor of smaller branches located in established businesses. The building was purchased by a credit union and was thriving up until the outbreak. It may actually be called Stockers Local Credit Union, but the residents always refer to it as Maishman's.
