Under the Defense Authorization Act of 2011, the Malton Department of Defense has created the DEFCON system. The DEFCON or defense readiness condition is an alert posture used by all MDD forces. The DEFCON system has five graduated levels of readiness (or states of alert), and increases in severity from DEFCON 5 (least severe) to DEFCON 1 (most severe) to match varying military conditions in Malton. The five DEFCONs, their exercise terms, and their general descriptions are shown below. MUNROE Further increase in force readiness, with cessation of standard operations and preparation for imminent attack War readiness Red DEFCON 1 WARNING! CDC REPORTS ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE. (A.K.A.
