According to the policy, libraries, schools, zoos, and museums in the city of Malton are considered safe places. No survivor in one of these locations may be killed for any reason unless that survivor is a specified enemy.

Description

The Mist Library is a fire-damaged grey-stone building plastered with posters. This library is mainly an engineering library, and is well known by the librarian community in Malton for having one of the region's largest collections of technical manuals, instruction books, and schematics.

It has been known to be a Haven safe house in the past, especially during the days of Haven Radio. It is currently the site of Myst FM.

Barricade Policy

In accordance with the Pashenton Barricade Plan, this site is to be kept at Extremely Heavily Barricaded (EHB+4). For those with the free running skill, entry is via Cocker Boulevard Fire Station.

Current Status

February 20th, 2007 - The Drama Club staged the first ever performance of "Army of Darkness" here, before they went on to start their Border Tour of Malton. The group plans to travel clockwise around the border suburbs of Malton with one show in each suburb. The audience of this show numbered 5, perhaps because the library itself has little to do with the arts.

November 11 to 17, 2007 - the Mist Library will host the Quartly Study Group on Tour. Look forward to booze & books for all-- zombie and human alike!
