Known Information
With the sudden imposition of quarantine, the Monroeville Police Department was scattered throughout the city. Most senior officials have disappeared, though whether evacuated, eaten, or just in hiding is unknown.
Monroeville Police Department SWAT division is being formed
In an attempt to restore order to the entirety of the city of Monroeville, I, Officer Jack Kirk, and arlia101 are forming the MonPD-SWAT. Our base of operations is at the Stallings Drive Police Department located in central Monroeville. Ultimately our goal will be to retake the infested streets of the city while having a stable central base out of the stable and reasonably secure area of the center of town. Mission Statement:
The Monroeville Police Department's foremost goal is 'To Serve and Protect' the people of Monroeville. It is our sworn duty as officers of the law to safeguard and defend each other, and more importantly the citizens of Monroeville. We will, to the best of our abilities and then some, stem the tide and eventually eradicate the menace known as the walking dead from within the city limits.
Using specialized tactics and human ingenuity, we will:
1. Serve and Protect the people of Monroeville
2. Come to the aid of all who request it
3. Set up safe houses for survivors
4. Coordinate with other groups and ultimately lead the efforts as defnders of the community to turn back the scourge of living death
It is these duties that we will uphold to the last officer, relentlessy and unfalteringly, until the city of Monroeville is once more a safe place to live.
Update from Officer Kirk 3/29/08 Yes, it's true. I was killed in my sleep at Stallings Drive. My new character is Chief Jack Kirk. God willing, if we all revive in Malton Officer Kirk will rise again (in a good way! :)) Arlia101 is dead as well, caught outside in a major zed attack from what I gather. If not for my other character we'd be darn near leaderless. As it stands, we no longer have a central operating base, at least not manned. All pending accounts on the forum have been fixed and approved. Until the problems are corrected I'm approving them manually and will try to check the forums for pending accounts as much as possible. Zombies are now permanently killable! Presson, Officers! We can win this!
Update from Officer Kirk 3/25/08 We need all available Officers to check the forum. As many of you know two malls have fallen and it's time to strike back. All of you, spread the word. We need help. A lot of it. Capt Sex Machine is down and will be mourned later. Now is the time to fight. Login to the forums and voice your support and ideas. The zeds stop here and now.
Update from Officer Kirk We just got into a more secure building and made our first transmission but we're really low on AP and will move back to Stallings Drive in the morning.
Update 3/13/08 7:55 ESTarlia101 and I are still at the Fire Department. We decided to continue searching for phones and encountered two zombies in the club. We've been engaging them all day to little effect. Guess it's hard being level 1 huh? Well, we need the phones so we're going to continue for a while unless killing them proves fruitless. 25 shots all missed consecutively...Does pistol training count for anything?
Update 3/15/08 We're back at the barn and active recruitment is underway. Once enough people express interest we can resume active patrols for the first time since the outbreak. Anyone not within range of Stallings Drive who wants to join please find the nearest transmitter and radio in. Technology is one of our greatest allies against the undead, use it. When patroling, I advise no fewer than two per patrol and I encourage cell phone use. Personally I don't have one yet but I'm looking. Firstly let my apologise for having to write on your wiki, i signed up to the forum , but was blocked from writting anything. My name is Lt fluby of the Porter Police Dept , dont know if you have heard of us or not but we live and fight from Porter Place Police dept in south Monroville . Location is 1N of Spaulding mall . As you seem to do operations in the south monroville, we would like to know if yoy are interested in starting up co-operation in this burb. We think many hands make light work and all that type of stuff. we do souting and raiding parties etc . dont know what we could do yet but opening communication is a start . Email activation code in Forums broken
Firstly let my apologize for having to write on your wiki, i signed up to the forum , but was blocked from writting anything.(this is exactly as the upper theme isn't), I haven't received the activation code and well, is effectively blocking anyone to join the group, probably a generalized problem for what I see.
Currently we have a small infestation in Dyer Street Police Dept 3 zombies and 8 bodies, They already Killed 4 mens and the barricades had fall at least twice a day since Monday.
