Description

Paxton Square is an open street in the region of West Monroeville. It is directly adjacent to Monroeville Mall, on it's northernmost block.

History

Paxton Square was an often overlooked street before the outbreak in Monroeville, with its only interesting features being a couple convenience stores and an apartment complex. However, the street had some notoriety in the mid 1990's, as it was determined to be the home of the so-called "Parking Lot Strangler", aka Samuel McGovern. Known for several late-night stranglings in various carparks and parking lots around the city, McGovern eluded police for years, and they were not even able to determine anything about the killer until an anonymous phone call from a supposed neighbor of McGovern phoned in. When police visited McGovern's house, they saw various drawings of little children with their eyes removed and a dead women in a rocking chair. To this day McGovern has claimed that the objects and any evidence against him were his roommate's belongings, claiming "He was just into that stuff, and I didn't want to appear insensitive", although no roommate ever existed.

After the outbreak, Officer Peter Farewell was noted as saying about the street on the day before he disappeared, "You know, if we had some kind of serum that could revive zombies, oh, let's call it Funky Magic Juice, and we were to designate a place for zombies to go to to get revived, I think Paxton Square would be an awesome place for something like that." Many have dismissed this as "Hypothetical hoopajoop" and continued killing zombies.

Current Status

March 30th

As Paxton Square is immediately next to the zombie-controlled Monroeville Mall, it wouldn't be wise to stay there for long periods of time. User:Jordan Salafack » JS talk contribs » 22:43, 30 March 2008 (BST)
